~Nova's POV~

It had been a while from that incident. In the end, I chose not to discuss it with Lyte anymore. I just tried to make it up to him that way, he didn't say a word. He didn't even order me around, he just did whatever. I got confused, but if I approached him he'd probably be upset. He didn't try to get out the house either; he didn't use his phone, let alone his gaming platforms. A day or two in and I still... don't get how's he's still like this. I approached his room.
"Lyte?" I knocked on the door. No response, I was at a loss, unsure what to do, still. That's so strange, actually, I usually always knew what to do, but when it comes to Lyte, I couldn't ever figure out things. I sighed, maybe he was asleep. I decided to creak the door open, he was just sitting on his bed , laying against the frame back and staring at me. I flinched, not really expecting that. It sent chills down my spine like the type of glares Violet and Scarlet give me. I assured myself and coughed, then went into the room.
"I'll break it with Cyko if you want," Lyte scoffed. I narrowed my eyes, he seemed to still have the energy in him to be angry, or always was.
"Just... do whatever you want," I nodded. He looked at me in surprise, his eyes widening. I sat on the edge of the bed.

~Lyte's POV~

It seems my act paid off well. I stated at Nova for a bit, I closed my eyes, I could feel the look of confusion on him. I quickly began to think of some thoughts, bad ones, and delved myself deep into them. This lead to the forming of tears, they began to stroll down before I opened my eyes back up again. Nova held me close and I just continued to cry, but not for the reason Nova would've thought.
"I'm sorry," was the best I could muster for now.
"I'm sure you had your reasons." He replied. I smirked to that, but also got a little upset. Good thing he couldn't see my expression considering I was snuggling up onto him.
"Can I make it up to you?" my dear starlight asked.
"Can I boss you around for a single day?"
"...okay." there was noticeable hesitance.

~Nova's POV~

I'm not sure if it's really my fault or such for this incident, but whatever gets him to shut it for now works. Frankly, he would always boss me for this long while before the incident, it's not much a change. At least it was better he wasn't sad or strangely acting, cause the past few days had made me rather gloomy. I didn't get this whole situation though.

That led to my surprise when I had woken up. I got a call, the name started with a V, but I was extremely sleepy. I could hardly hear a thing, at best I could make out these words from the caller, something about someone going off or so. I think I heard a mention of Lyte but I couldn't catch it. I just nodded and pretended I heard before I went back to sleep. But that's not the surprise.
