Chapter 14

{Midoriyas POV}

I ended up falling asleep, but not long after I'm woken up by quiet arguing.

"I said im not wearing your shitty nerdy clothes!"

"They're your clothes too so wear them!"

I opened my eyes and saw one of them throw a shirt to the other. This could either end well or bad. But by the growling coming from underneath the shirt and sparks forming at his hand, it's gonna end bad. I jumped up and grabbed his wrist.

"Kacchan be nice."

"I am you damn nerd!"

I looked over to the other Kacchan and realized that he was mine, so that meant this Kacchan was acting like mine. I sighed and put a hand on his back.

"Don't get upset, dealing with one angry Kacchan is already bad enough."

He started to relax and pulled the shirt from his face.

"Sorry, lost my temper."

"It's alright."

He smiled and walked towards his closet, he gave me a white tshirt and black sweatpants. He gave me Kacchan a black tank top and black sweatpants. We all got dressed and sat where we slept.

"So, do you want breakfast?"

"HELL YE-"

"Sorry but we actually have to get going. Come on Kacchan!"

Kacchan was about to scream again but I just grabbed his wrist and pulled him off the bed. I grabbed our bags from the floor and opened the window.

"Thanks for letting us stay! We'll probably be back later!"

I then jumped out the window and pulled Kacchan out along with me. We both took a bit of a tumble but were overall fine. We got up and dusted ourself off.

"DEKU WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?"

"Shh! We need to get to the woods."

I lead him back to the forest clearing we were in before and sat down on the ground. He did the same and I pulled out the notebook.

"The fuck is that?"

I opened the notebook and showed him the diagrams. "I found this in my room. It's different from all my other notebooks and it literally says that this worlds me is a villain! But I think I, he, will be a bit more difficult to take down."

"And what makes you say that? He's a shitty nerd like you!"

I shook my head. "Actually Kacchan, it seems that he's experimenting with quirks and being able to develop new ones. If what I've read is true, then he could've possibly already figured it out and be stronger than the both of us combined!"

Kacchan rolled his eyes. "Stupid Deku, this isn't our problem!"

"What? Kacchan how can you-"

"CAN IT! This isn't OUR world so it's not OUR problem! We just need to find that fucker who sent us here so we can go home! Not track down the villain you!"

Before I could protest, Kacchan took the notebook from me.

"Hey!-"

"SHUT IT DEKU! I'm keeping this until we get home. So start looking for the guy we need instead of getting involved this this worlds problems!

"But Kacchan!-"

"BUT WHAT DEKU!?"

He glared daggers into my eyes, but I held my head high and stood my ground.

"Kacchan, if we don't help them then their world could be destroyed. If this worlds me is as dangerous as I think he is, then what's stopping him from coming to our world! We're hero's Kacchan. We protect those who can't defend themselves! If we leave this world to die, what kind of hero's are we?"

Kacchan kept his glare. He huffed and stepped closer to me.

"Listen here Deku cause I'm only gonna say this once. I don't, give a flying fuck."

"W-what? But Kacchan-"

"SHUT IT NERD! This isn't our mess! we just need to worry about getting home!"

"But Todoroki-"

"DONT EVEN MENTION THAT HALF N HALF BASTARD!"

I closed my mouth. I looked at him in disbelief, how could he be so selfish?!

I looked down at my feet and clenched my fist.

"Come on nerd. I'm fucking hungry."

He turned away to leave but I didn't move.

"HEY! DID YOU NOT HEAR ME!?"

I felt myself starting to get mad. I clenched my teeth but I couldn't help but feel rage burn through me.

"STUPID DEKU! I SAID!-"

"NO!"

Without hesitation I ran at Kacchan. I grabbed the journal from him and held it tight.

"DEKU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

I couldn't stop myself. I was too anger that I couldn't hold back anymore.

"You know what, you can go! Find your way home, leave me here for all I care! Hero's don't give up the fight! Hero's are brave, ready to face whatever comes their way. They're selfless, and from what I've seen,"

I paused. I looked him dead in the eyes and took a deep breath.

"From what I've seen is that you're a selfish prick! You stand only for yourself and that's the most villainess act there it!"

Silence. No one moved. His eyes were wide with rage. Well so were mine. I wasn't going to let him get the last word, not this time.

"You Bakugou, are the most selfish person I've met."

I turned away from him and ran. I heard nothing behind me other than the wind in my face and the grass underneath my feet. I don't care if I was too harsh on him, if he can't learn to be selfless,

Then what good of a hero is he?
