The months following Jim Hopper's 'death' were felt by the entire population of Hawkins. His coworkers began dreading going to work, knowing that Jim wasn't going to come in late, or steal their donuts, or take sips from their coffees and share his cigarettes.

The streets were quiet, which wasn't unusual for little Hawkins, but no one felt the need to do bad things, since they wouldn't feel the rush of being chased by Chief Hopper.

The town would never be the same without Jim Hopper.

El and Frankie moved in with Joyce, Jonathan and Will days after the incident. Even though Frankie was mostly as the Harrington's, it was still her home.

But most of all, Steve was her home. So when Joyce had broken the news of their departure from town, Frankie had dreaded telling her boyfriend, but eventually she did, and Steve was determined to make her last months in Hawkins the best time of her life.

Frankie's nights were still plagued by Billy's last words. She had lost way too much sleep than she would like to admit, trying to figure out how the hell she knew Billy was going to die. No one had mentioned it, whether it was because they forgot, or simply because they didn't want to.

She had also kept from everyone that in the three months since the accident, Frankie had been having dreams of a man with long, brown hair, telling her that she's going to thank him for something in the future.

'Robin, pass me my purse, please?' The girl in the backseat hummed as she passed the small leather bag to the front seat, getting small 'thank you' in return. Frankie fished her dad's sunglasses out and pushed them up on her nose, the October sun being way too harsh for some reason.

'Babe, do you have any gum in there?' asked Steve, eyes on the road. Frankie hummed as she looked through her belongings, cheering quietly as she took out a pack. She unwrapped a piece, placing it on Steve's tongue.

'Gosh, Dingus. This C.V. sucks.' said Robin and passed the papers to Frankie who read over until Steve parked his BMW in front of 'Family Video'. They all got out of the vehicle, Frankie still looking at his C.V.

'You put your mom down as a reference?' asked Frankie looking at Robin, both girls sharing matching confused expressions.

'Yeah, why not. She's like, super well respected.' replied Steve, grabbing Frankie's hand as he walked towards the store, Robin behind them. He held the door open, letting the girls walk in first.

'You're such a dingus.' they said at the same time and then snickered, not seeing Steve mocking them behind their backs.
