INCOMING CALL: unknown number
"oh my god. here we go again."
it's 3 in the morning and this stupid number keeps calling me. every single voicemail is the same "babe, i miss you. blah blah blah." i feel bad for the guy. he's been calling for the past three weeks trying to reach this angie girl who probably changed her number. sometimes i get this urge to answer the call but i don't think i'm ready to explain to him that i'm not the voice he was expecting to hear. it'd probably break his heart even more and then break mine for having to break it to him.
i put my phone on silent, stuff it back under my pillow, and fall back asleep.
