Only You (I Missed You sequel)

Chapter 3

Hayes' POV 

"I'm in love with you Cayli Briann Elizabeht Pottorff." I told her. Then she fell fast asleep. I should've told her that while she was awake. I really am in love with her. I think she likes me too, but I'm not too sure. 

"Did I just hear you say you were in love with her?" I hear Kian ask me while he's coming down the stairs. I feel the heat coming off of my cheeks and slowly nod my head. 

"Awwwwwwwwwww!!" Connor squeals like a girl. I laugh softly and tell them to shh. They both look at me and hold their hearts like I killed them or something. I point at Cayli and they nod their heads and go back to what they were doing. 

Kian came over and sat beside me. The side Cayli wasn't on, obviously Hayes. 

"You have to promise me you won't hurt her like Trevor has. He also promised but for some reason, I believe you more." Kian said sternly. 

I gulped and said, "I do promise. I swear." He smiled and walked away. Cayli started to stir so i figured she would wake up soon. I didn't think she'd fall asleep. She's been sleeping a lot lately. I hope she's okay. 

"Hayes." She says sleepily. 

"Yes, princess?" I say and rub her forehead. She smiles lightly and sits up slowly. She rubs her eyes and yawns.

"Well I feel better."

"You literally slept 10 minutes." I say and we both laugh. 

She stands up and stretches.

"What time is it?" She says and yawns.

"9 in the morning." I say and she falls to the couch. 

"Are you serious?!" She yells.

I laugh and nod.

"We should go somewhere today." She suggests. 

I agree and say, "Where to my love?" She giggles and shrugs. 

"We should go to Taco Bell for breakfast. Then the park or something." She suggests.

"Sure. Let me go home and get ready. Be  ready in, say, 45 minutes?" She smiles and runs upstairs. I take that as a yes.

Cayli's POV 

I run upstairs and into my room. I run to the bathroom and lock the door behind me. I strip naked (obviously Cayli, people don't shower covered in clothes.) and jumped into the shower. I did all the shower stuff and then went to my room to pick out clothes.

I put on a bra and panties then picked out some regular black leggings and a cute PINK shirt. I put my black UGGS on and took my hair out of the towel. I blow dried it and then straightened it. I then put my normal makeup on plus eye shadow. Hayes should be here soon. That only took me 30 minutes. (I wish I could do all that in just 30 minutes)

I grab my KAVU side bag and run downstairs. Kian was on the couch so I sat next to him and he was watching re-runs of Teen Wolf. I looked at him and he wiggled his eyebrows and smirked.

Oh goodness, I really hope he didn't hear what I heard.

Knock knock

I get up and go to the door, open it, and there stood handsome ole' Hayes. 

"Let's go princess." He holds out his arm and I take it.

"BYE!" I yell through the house and shut the door.

"So Taco Bell?" He asks me.

"Yep." I say, popping the 'p'. He laughs and we walk to Taco Bell. 

We walk in and people literally go insane. I end up falling to the floor and Hayes helps me up and pushes the girls aside. 

"STOP! GET OFF OF HER! GET OUT!" He yells. 

We get up to the cashier, which is a girl that looks my age, and she smiles big and says, "Can I take your order?" 

We both order and I catch her giving me a death glare. I roll my eyes and we take the food to go because of all the people. 

We start walking to the park and Hayes holds my hand. I feel sparks. I still love Trevor, with all my heart, but I may or may not like Hayes. 

"Hellur?" Hayes says, waving his hands in front of my face. I giggle and say sorry. 

We go over to the park bench and start eating. 

"I need to tell you something." Hayes says randomly.

"Yeah? Anything." I tell him. He takes my hands in his and sighed.

"Listen, I have felt this way about you for a long time now. I just now have the guts to tell you. I don't know why, I think it's because you just broke up with Trevor." He takes a deep breath and continues, "I'm in love with you Cayli Briann Elizabeth Pottorff. Okay? There I said it. I don't care if you feel the same or not. I will love you no matter what. I really hope this doesn't ruin our friendship. You're my best friend Cay." He says. I look him in the eye and he has tears building up. Omg.

"I don't know if I feel the same way Hayes. I'm sorry. I think I have feelings for you but I still love Trevor. I do love you Hayes. Just not like that.." I tell him and he smiles.

"That's fine. We're still best friends right?" He asks with hope in his voice.

I giggle and say in a British accent, "Of course."

He laughs and says, "So do you want to go home now?" 

"Sure." I reply.

We get up and start walking back home. It's weird to think that my best friend's in love with me. I mean, this doesn't feel like reality. I swear, this is a freakin fairy-tale. Why would he love me anyways? I mean, look at me. I'm ugly, fat, and a worthless. STOP CAYLI DON'T THINK LIKE THAT.I've been good with the whole depression thing. I haven't cut or anything like that in over a year. And I'm not going to start back at it now. 

"Cayli..." Hayes whispers.

"What?" I ask him. 

"You were thinking out loud again." He says. POOP. 

"Ummmmmm oops." I say and he grabs my hand. I smile and we get to the door of the house. 

I take a deep breath and enter.

"School's tomorrow." Hayes says as we start walking upstairs.

"Yeah, I know." I reply and he laughs at my stupidness. 

"Cayli! Can I talk to you?" I hear Connor say from downstairs. Hayes walks into my room and I go downstairs.

I go sit by Connor on the couch. 

"Yes?" I ask him. He looks worried.

"Well, all the guys know this. please don't get upset." He says, looking my in the eye. He's scaring me..

"I'm moving out. I need time alone and I think it's best." He says and looks at the ground. My heart just broke. Connor is like a father to me and he's leaving? UGH. 

"I'm upset honestly. But I'm proud of you for doing what you feel what's right." I say and hug him. He rubs my back and we let go. 

"I love you, Cay." He tells me. 

"I love you too Connor." I say and walk back upstairs and to my room.

I open the door and see Hayes and Trevor talking. Oh crap.
