Only You (I Missed You sequel)

Chapter 2

Cayli's POV 

I woke up to the door slamming. I sit up and rub my eyes. I open my eyes and barely see Trevor running upstairs. What's wrong with him. Hayes is beside me sleeping. He's so cute when he's sleeping. Nobody knows this, and I mean nobody, but I like Hayes a lot. 

I hear Hayes stirring beside me and he sits up too. 

"Hey." I say, standing up. Thank goodness I'm not still shaking. 

"I've gotta talk to Trevor. I'll be right back. Okay?" I tell him. 

"Yeah. Call me later, I'm gonna go home. My mom's probably worried." He says and walks out the door. 

I calmly walk upstairs but then get nervous when I reach his door. I knock and I hear a quiet "Come in." so I go in.

Trevor is sitting on his bed on his phone. He looks up at me when I enter his room and then looks back down at his phone.

"Trevor, we need to talk.." I say quietly and sit down on his bed. 

"Okay. What do you wanna talk about?" He says and puts down his phone. 

I take a deep breath and say, "I feel like we're drifting apart. We don't hang out anymore and we always fight. You hurt me, I hurt you, it's the same cycle over and over again. What I'm trying to say is, I think we need to take a break, see other people maybe." 

He looks at me and says, "Yeah, okay. I was thinking the same thing." Wow, that hurt. 

I get up and run to my room. I slam the door shut and jump on my bed and scream into my pillow. Sam comes rushing in and I tell him what happened. 

"It'll be okay Cay. He's just a douche. At least yall are on the same page, right?" He says to me

 I nod and reply, "Yeah I guess." He nods and walks out of my room 

I got onto my phone and call Hayes to tell him. 

"Hey Hayes."

"Hey Cayli."

"So, IjustbrokeupwithTrevor." I say quickly. 

"Did you just say you broke up with Trevor?"

"Yeah."

"I'll be there in 20 minutes with Butter Pecan Ice-cream and a movie." He says and hangs up. I smile at the thought of him comforting me. 

-20 minutes later-

"Hey Hayes." I say as he walks in with ice-cream and a movie. 

"Hey Cay." He says and we head over to the couch. 

"I'll get 2 spoons." I say and go to the kitchen to get some. I come back with some and snuggle up to Hayes. 

He already put in the movie. 

"What are we watching Hayes?" I ask him. 

"You'll see." He says and smiles. I smile too just because he smiled. I know, cheesy right. 

The menu comes on and it's The Fault In Our Stars. My favorite movie. 

"Awwwwww Hayes!" I say and he kisses my forehead. 

"Anything for you princess." He says quietly. We've always had a flirty friendship. 

We watch the movie and I slowly start falling asleep. 

Before I drift asleep, I hear Hayes say something that shocks me. 

"I'm in love with you Cayli Briann Elizabeth Pottorff."

Sorry it was short. I wasn't in the mood to really write but I did anyways since school is starting back tomorrow and I won't be updating as often. Next chapter should be better. Love yall.
