Chapter 10

Cayli's POV

Today was the day Connor was moving out. My alarm woke me up at 8 in the morning. I rolled out of bed slowly and went to the bathroom. I peed real quick and stripped naked.

"Cayli are you up?" I heard Connor yell.

"Yeah! I'm getting in the shower!" I yelled back. I got my phone and turned on pandora, of course. I stepped in the shower and washed my hair, body, and shaved my legs. I got out and wrapped a towel around my wet body.

I walked out to my room and over to my closet. I put on panties and a bra. I picked out some high-waisted jean shorts and a white 3 quarter length shirt. I got my converse socks and put them on. I took my hair out of the towel and brushed it. I walked over to my hair dryer and turned it on.

I flipped my head over and closed my eyes and blow dried my hair.

"RAWR!" Someone screamed right in my ear. It scared the crap out of me so I accidently flipped over and landed on my head. I turned the hair dryer off and stood up.

Hayes was standing there laughing his butt off. I glared at him and he ran off. I laughed and just threw my hair up in a messy bun. I put my makeup on and pulled my white converse on. I looked in the mirror and sighed. I still had a black eye from where Tracy punched me. I tried covering it with makeup but you can still tell it's there.

I walked downstairs and everybody was waiting on me.

"What? I'm a girl. I can't get ready in 10 minutes. Goh." I say and walk to the kitchen. I get out a bottle of water and grabbed a smores poptart.

"Well c'mon ya big babies. Let's go." I said and grab my purse from the coat rack. I walk out the door and to my car. I get in the drivers seat and looked out the window. Hayes, Emilie, Sam, and Trevor walking over to me. Kian and Ricky to Kian's car. And Connor goes to his car.

Hayes sits up front with me while Sam, Emilie, and Trevor sit in the back.

"Oh hey Cayli, Isaac is coming to help us." Sam says and I smile.

"Who's Isaac?" Hayes asks me and I look at him and he's smirking.

I slap his arm and tell him, "Dude! Isaac is my cousin ya dingus! Him and my aunt moved down here when my grandaddy died. I haven't seen him in like 5 years. I'm so excited!" I say and smile big.

We all pull out of the drive way and head to Connor's new house. He was only moving aboout 20 minutes away.

"Ohhhhh. That's cool." Hayes says and holds my hand. Suddenly I feel sparks. Ah crap. I CANNOT get feelings for Hayes. I smile and continue driving.

My phone starts ringing and I let go of Hayes' hand. I pick my phone up and it's Ashlyn. I answer.

"Hey Ash." I say and she squeals.

"Woah girl calm down." I say and laugh.

"Can I come help yall move Connor in?" She asks me.

"Umm duh." I say and we both laugh.

"Okay. Tell me the address and I'll be there soon." Ashlyn says and I give it to her.

"Ashlyn's coming to help us, I hope that's okay." I tell them.

"Yeah that's fine." Sam says. I look in my mirror and Trevor is on his phone while Sam and Emilie are making googly eyes at each other. Ohhh Lord.

"Hayes, we need to talk about something." I say to Hayes. He looks at me and I sigh.

"Listen, Ashlyn told me the other day at school that you had asked out Taylor. Is that true?" I ask him and he slightly laughs.

"Dude really? I hate Taylor, why would I ask her out?" He says and I sigh in relief.
