"Your grandparents own this house?" manghang tanong ko kay Uly nang makapasok kami sa malaking bahay.

I looked at him and saw that he's already busy with our things. Napalinga-linga ulit ako.

Hindi ko maiwasang mamangha sa bahay. It was large and wide. The house is an epitome of an Spanish and ancient style. It's classic. Some of the walls painted with light brown colors surrounded by the antique and old pictures hanging in the walls.

"Yes," he answered.

Palipat-lipat ang tingin ko sa mga paintings sa wall. They look so nice around the house. Agaw atensyon agad sa mga taong pumapasok dito.

"And where are they now?" I asked without looking at him.

"They passed away."

Napatingin ako sa kanya. Nakita ko siyang nakapasandal na sa pader habang ang isang paa ay nakaangat para masandal din doon. Nakapamulsa siya at diretsong nakatitig sa akin.

I was immediately distracted. I looked away. My heart pounded violently.

"Oh... The grandparents you told me in the mountain, uh, before?"

His lips twitched. "Yes."

"O-Okay... So you own this now?"

"Uh-uh," He licked his lower lip.

So this is also one of the lands being inherited to him?

Nag-iwas ulit ako ng tingin sa kanya at tumikhim. "Tapos ka na sa pag-aayos?"

"Hindi pa. I still have things to fix at the car,"

"Kung gano'n ay bakit ka pa nandito?"

Sumulyap ako sa kanya. He's biting his lower lip now. He smirked.

"I love watching you this way." He said sensually.

My heart palpitated abnormally again. My eyebrows raised and I almost glared at him. Pumikit ako at napatikhim.

"I-I see..." ang nasabi ko na lang.

I looked at anywhere again.

Napansin ko siyang umalis sa pagkakasandal at naglakad papalapit sa akin. Halos mapapikit ulit ako. Nilabanan ko ang naghuhurumentadong sarili at nilingon siya.

He held my arm. I almost flinched. A ghostly smile played on his lips when he saw my reaction.

"I'll send you to your room upstairs. You could change if you want. Ipapasok ko muna ang iilang gamit natin at tatawagin na lang kita kapag kakain na tayo,"

"Okay." I looked away when I saw his amused look at me.

Itinuro niya sa akin ang magiging kwarto ko ngayong gabi. I still have many questions to ask but I thought of asking it in dinner. Sa ngayon, ayaw ko muna ng stress at magpapahinga muna ako.

I tried calling Tito Randy too but I realized, my phone has no signal. Kung saan-saan pa ako nagpupupunta sa kwarto ko para makagahilap kahit kaunti pero sobrang hina talaga.

Ulysses brought my things in my room. Tinawag din niya ako nang maghapunan na. I saw many foods in the dining na sigurado akong niluto niyang lahat. Nakita ko rin siyang nakatayo sa mesa, may hinihiwang tinapay.

I swallowed hard when I saw his triceps moving. His muscles flex perfectly everytime he's reaching for something. He's just wearing a plain white T-shirt and pants but it made him more attractive.
