Chapter Two

Skylar's POV

Once the kids left for school I looked at lyth who had her dog with her. "So how's your marriage?" I asked plopping a piece of unburnt pancake in my mouth. "Somewhat decent, he's working and he will be gone for a month, and if he tries to divorce me, Isis will choose me because of the bond" she shrugged meaninglessly.

"I can't believe him, a month to do whatever he wants, I mean he has work but every year?" I handed her a spoon with Nutella. "You know I do this because it's the only way for us to be supported, if not I'm going back to work" she said eating the Nutella. "If you think about it, you might make more cash then he will" I pointed out. "Not really, if he were to stop working I'd probably be working on YouTube again" she shrugged petting shadow.

"What if he gets a girl knocked up?" I asked. She shrugged simply, "won't matter, because he'll either divorce me, or pay child support before that happens." Dang this girl really doesn't care, or already knows what to face. "Did you ask him that why he would have to leave a month out of the year after Isis was born, or did he flat out tell you?" I was confused to how this started. "He told me his boss does this for all his workers so I guess I could ask his boss, but even if it weren't true I'd divorce his ass for lying to me" lyth explained.

"So do you plan on having another kid or no?" The question was asked. "Ugh, yes I really want another kid and you know I can't, but if I do I want a son and I want to name him Hayden or Hanson" she shook her head chuckling a bit, seeing how she can never have kids, the first time was a risk and the second time might kill her. "I don't see why your laughing, I mean if I could I'd have another kid and most likely name her star, if it were another boy, oh dear god help me" I shook my head and she laughed as she set down shadow.

Both shadow and kawaii ran off into the living room while we sat at the kitchen table. "So I have a confession" I looked at lyth skeptically, wondering what she wanted to say, "the boys are coming back for a while, and Isis gets to meet them and actually get a good glimpse of them because they both left for collage and moved away when she was young."

"Oh, that's so cool, I was wondering when Rosie might come back, but you know her, she's a techie for the government" I sighed, Rosie accomplished a lot after Jesus was born and then started to work for the government, she's now twenty-seven and the boys had gone to collage but are getting higher degrees to get better jobs, yet Rosie's attitude changed over the time.

Suddenly lyth's phone rang. "Hello, this is Lythion, whose this?" Lyth answered putting it on speaker. "Hey mom, change of plans, um instead of coming home next week, were coming tomorrow afternoon or so" Zeek said with the background noise of plane passengers and Cy talking to someone next to him or something. "Okay, that's fine I'll get your rooms in order and tell Isis that you guys are coming home early."

"Are you going to tell her?" There was a slight whisper that was hard to pick up but thanks to Rosie's tech skills, it was picked up. "Uh, mom, there's also another reason why we're coming home early" Zeek said somewhat fearful.

"Oh give me that. Hey Mrs. Flames, it's Olive, since these guys don't want to tell you I'll tell you, Zeek proposed to Avalon, Brandon and I are brides maid, they wanted to tell you as soon as possible but were scared because of the whole Greyson thing" Olive answered as our jaws dropped, well mine mostly.

"Zachary, put him back on the phone please" lyth asked using Zeek's real name. "Uh hey mom" Zeek was chuckling nervously. "Getting married? When did you plan on telling me?" Lyth asked with an angry voice but she looked at me and mouthed 'play along'.

You've got to love lyth when it comes to pranking her kids. Just then Armen walked in through the back door about to say something but we made a motion for him to zip it and listen. "Zachary, answer me" lyth said demanding after Zeek stayed silent. "I was going to run it by Avalon's dad first to see if I can get his blessing" Zeek said quietly.

Armen adopted all three girls after Isis was born and took Avalon from Drake so he can focus on Isis. Armen looked confused so I mouthed to him 'Zeek proposed to your daughter'. He made the 'ooh' face and smirked. "Well I don't know to tell you Zach, hey put everyone on speaker" lyth said bluntly. "Uh, your on speaker, and we are listening" Zeek said after two seconds.

"So, you plan on marrying my daughter?" Armen asked with a stern unsteady tone. "Holy-" Avalon started but cut herself off. "When did you plan on telling me Avalon?" He asked as a laugh threatened to erupt from his mouth. "Dad, I can explain, it's just tha... ..... Your messing with me aren't you?" Avalon asked. "BINGO" I yelled which probably scared them.

"I recorded the whole thing just so you know" lyth said somewhat laughing. "Of course you would" I heard Cy mutter. "George, don't start with me" lyth said sternly to Cy, using his real name. "Okay mother" he said back. "So details" Armen asked grinning. And soon enough we were getting details of how that happened.
