We've found that this was a hugely speculated theory about Jerrie back in 2015 time- around the same time theory 2 was rumoured.
Before we get into this we understand that some evidence used for this theory could've also been used towards the fling but a relationship goes deeper than a few hookups and so we believe that all evidence presented with this theory has more depth to it.
Jade and Perrie did have a relationship. It's thought that this was very much a "best friends who fell in love" kind of story. They didn't enter into a relationship until Zerrie had ended. But the Jerrie relationship ended badly as well- this would explain a lot of things: The tension between Jade and Alex, the year where Jerrie seemed to completely disappear and were incredibly distanced from each other, and the small jealousy moments we see every now and then.
Jesy, Leigh-Anne and close friends and family all knew about this relationship.
Our first piece of evidence towards this theory is the Cornetto advert where Little Mix are asked in an interview who they'd like to make a move on-if they could choose anyone in the world.
As soon as they're asked the question, Perrie instantly glances over at Jade and smiles...

She and Jade would've had to keep their relationship hidden and fans believe that both Perrie and Jade struggled to do this as they are both strong activists for LGBT and felt like they were almost contradicting what they stood for by not coming out. And this later leads to their abrupt breakup.
