Jerrie didn't last past 2016.  The theories surrounding their supposed break-up suggest the pressures of hiding such a high profile relationship became too much- especially being LGBT advocates, they felt like they weren't being honest.

It's also said that their management, SYCO, played a big part in the Jerrie break up. After 2016/2017, Jerrie were separated in almost every interview and had limited reactions. Further proof that Syco had a hand in Jerrie's breakup is this picture:

This is Jerrie's hands. The ring you can see is Jade's and that's Perrie's bracelet. This was posted on the Little Mix twitter at the beginning of 2016 but it was taken down suddenly from all social media without an explanation. Mixers claim it was Syco who took it down in an attempt to cover Jerrie's ever-growing relationship, it's a rare photo to have as only a few managed to screenshot. The caption can't be remembered.

Remember Syco is the same company who separated Larry (1D) and Camren due to similar rumours.

Leigh-Anne wrote the song "Nobody like you" which is on Little Mix's fourth album 'Glory Days'. Although it's said to be about a bad relationship she had in her past, the duet at the end of the song sang by Jerrie offers another opinion, especially when performed live.

That certain duet in the song is rumoured to be about Jerrie and how they tried to make a relationship work yet couldn't. Now they're with other people but they will always remember their relationship.

Fans are absolutely convinced that this song is about Jerrie:

The lyrics of their duet go:

[Jade Thirlwall & Perrie Edwards]
Oh, I wanna feel you in the dark
I could use, I could use sun
But all you left me with was scars
And that's the hardest part
There's nobody like you, nobody like you
I've tried "goodbye" a hundred times, not one of them true, oh

[Chorus: Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall & Both]
There's nobody like you (Nobody like you), nobody like you
I've tried "goodbye" a hundred times, not one of them true, oh
Nobody like you (Nobody like you)
Nobody like you (Nobody like you)
I'm screaming, "I don't want you" but you know that I do

[Outro: Jade Thirlwall + Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall & Perrie Edwards]
Nobody like, nobody like, nobody like you
Nobody like, nobody like, nobody like you
Nobody like, eh, nobody like you
Nobody like, nobody like you

Evidence towards their short lived relationship is the awkward relationship between Jade and Alex-Perrie's now boyfriend. Neither follow each other on social media and have never been seen to interact much and when they do, Jade often throws a few strange glances towards Alex.
