"Location: Yavin IV. Katt's YT-2400 leaves a trail of smoke as it hurdles across the Yavin sky."

Katt uses every tactic she knows to keep her ship together as she patiently attempts to land safely. KIBIT plugs into the ship computers to assist and oversee repairs.

"Mistress Katt? I have repair droids focusing on the engine and controlling the fire. We are working on the reactor as well. Our situation seems to be teetering on that."

"Thank you KIBIT. I've managed to find a patch of land that will accommodate our crash."

"Mistress Katt! That is not very amusing."

"I'm joking Kibby. We are losing altitude fast; tell me when we are at half power. I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve."

"Thank the Maker for that!" replied KIBIT. The combat droid still has a lot to get used to with his new owner. Katt Sollock seems intelligent and very careful for a human, yet KIBIT has witnessed her to take such fascinating risks up to this point; he will process the data for now.

Katt silently curses to herself. She was so busy pulling off that stunt in space, she didn't sense the presence of Simon Darkbrood; the coward was sitting back waiting to fire two missiles right at her ship. "I'm going to kill that bastard," she muttered to herself.

Although Katt's thoughts were rather un-jedi like, her mother's training proved true: "If someone is trying to kill you, it's best to not let them live." Katt always thought she could disprove that theory, but here she is, in a flaming ship streaking across the skies of Yavin trying to stay alive.

"Imperials will be onto us. They will see the ship's trail like a beacon."

"Don't worry Kibby, I'll protect you."

KIBIT was insulted. "You will protect me? My dear Katt, I do think you underestimate my abilities."

Katt chuckled, "You're right KIBIT, you will be okay. I'm sorry I underestimated you," she said with a grin.

"I forgive you Mistress Katt"

The ship's fate was in Katt and KIBIT's hands. There would be no room for mistakes.

The YT 2400's altitude was dangerously low; well below the safety zone. A patch of palm trees with a long strip of beach beyond it were approaching fast. The ship was shaking beyond control.

"Power is at half Mistress Katt!"

"Time to get crazy," whispered Katt. "Divert power to front shields!" commanded Katt.

"Power to front shields; aye," acknowledged KIBIT.

With full shields to the front the YT 2400 bulldozed through the palm trees like Corellian wheat; the ship was dangerously close to the ground. Once the ship cleared the patch of trees Katt gave another order. "Divert power to the engines!"

"Diverting power to the engines; aye," KIBIT obeyed.

Katt grabbed the throttle, pushed it forward, and pulled up on the yoke. The ship regained altitude gradually and stabilized!

Katt gave out a high-pitched whoot!

"Well done Kibby! Please continue overseeing the repairs. I'm going to find us a nice spot to land. What the heck, let's just go to the island now!" she said with a devilish grin.

The DarkLord's ship came out of hyperspace near the Planet Yavin IV. He hails Simon Darkbrood on the com-link.

"I felt a disturbance in the Force. It is curiously hard to pinpoint the cause. May I assume you were successful in killing the padawan?"

"I am attacking her ship as we speak, my master." Simon lied.

"In that case, take extra care. I sense she has the two keys in her possession."

"Why would they entrust a padawan learner with such rare and valuable items?"

"Do not try to understand the ways and motives of the light jedi. They are weak and short sighted. Your task is to get the two keys from young Akebe. I sense she is separated from the others."

"Yes she is my master; it is by my design."

"Darkbrood? You surprise me! I will meet you at the island."

"Thank you master," replied Darkbrood as he searched for Katt's ship with his radar. Simon couldn't admit to his master that all he did was shoot two missiles at Katt's engines. He assumed that she would die, but his master just got finished saying how he sensed she's still alive!

"No one makes a fool out of me," Simon muttered to himself. Simon's Vaksai fighter entered Yavin's atmosphere.

Although Katt disappearance was unforeseen, the High Council members knew Katt was alive. Serna flicked some switches to tell the computers to initiate any minor repairs to her yacht. Serna beckoned Gondring to sit at the cockpit. The large Wookie sat on her right.

"Master Gondring, please pilot the ship. I need to meditate."

"I would be happy to, Master Serna," he said in Shirwood.

Gondring was an excellent pilot, but would rather fly his fighter ship. Serna walked down the stairs into the main room of her yacht where she knelt down to meditate. Serna cleared her mind to search for Katt; she quietly knelt for a few minutes before she started to see an image. For a brief moment she could see a light jedi with long white hair; he was tall in stature and very strong looking. The image disappeared. Serna saw Katt next; the young padawan was fine and KIBIT was with her.

"Katt?" Serna projected her voice into Katt's mind.

"I'm fine mother. I'll meet you all at the island."

"The island? Very well, I'm just glad you are not hurt." Serna gazed at her daughter. Katt was wearing her boots with short pants and a cute little blue top. She wore a pistol belt that held her two pistols and two lightsabers. Plus she had the two swords strapped to her backpack. A more ridiculous sight could not be envisioned.

"Katt, cover yourself up; I don't like that outfit you are wearing."

"Mother! It's hot out and this outfit is fine."

Serna frowned.

Serna walked back up to the cockpit and radioed Jakk Sollock.

"Mr Jakk, please rally over to my ship and dock please; I wish to board your ship to get you up to speed.

"Sure Serna." replied Jakk and he maneuvered his craft closer to Serna's yacht. Serna climbed aboard and made her way over to the co-pilot chair of Jakk's ship. She leaned over and kissed Jakk. "I missed you husband". Jakk blushed.

"I have missed you too. What sort of bad people are we dealing with this time? Serna began to share the tale; her husband listened with great interest as she mapped out the series of events.

Alkic hailed everyone on his com-link, "I have found Katt's ship. Let's start our descent to the southern hemisphere on the far side of the planet please."

Everyone acknowledged and set their course for the destination.

Alkic felt a disturbance in the Force. In his cockpit he closed his eyes and opened them. He could sense a presence; it felt like Serna, but she was on her yacht. Then it vanished. Another vision appeared. Alkic could see Katt being thrown back by a stream of Force Lightning; it propelled her against the wall of a very large room. It was a troubling sight.

"May the Force be with you Katt," Alkic whispered.
