Author's Note - not required to read but advised so you can understand the logic between heaven and hell:

The way I imagine heaven is a bit difficult to describe in the story so I'm giving you a few images for a better chance at understanding what I mean; the way I imagine heaven (in this story - I am an atheist) is many levels, perhaps the ground is divided and floating, I don't know. Balconies are constructed to prevent angels from falling, since not all of them can fly and its just a safety measure. This heaven isn't in the sky, as in "above earth", it's more like a different dimension - earth still exists - and hell is below it. Imagine this as levels in fractional distillation. the highest level would be where the castle is (in the example this would be petrol) like a huge platform of just the castle, and the level below it (kerosene) would be a bunch of huge pieces of land that are attached to each other by staircases or whatever. Then, the diesel oil level would not be there, or rather it would be like a gateway, as this would be almost like a gate to travel from heaven to hell (since exterminators have to get to hell). the last level would just be hell, and it would not have any platforms or levels like heaven does since demons do not fly nor have been given that possibility due to the "theory" (or fact idk I haven't thought this through) that God is still the most powerful deity, even in hell.

Next explanation is the actual appearance of heaven. This is slightly different to the heaven that we see in the CHERUBS jingle, since it shows everything as one fluffy pile of buildings and a castle on one cloud with a gate at the very front, but in my head it's slightly different. There is no gate at the top that you can just walk on through, and I haven't thought this through yet but I might come back to this later to explain it in more detail. The balconies that I've imagined are in the images below. I would say imagine this, but more elegant and white - the main idea is that all platforms are floating and have fences at the edges to stop people from falling over.
