Prologue

Zenitsu, a normal boy, with a normal life. Not to much drama, everything is calm and peaceful for him and he prefers to keep it that way.

And now Zenitsu is walking on the sidewalk, on his merry way to school. He won't dare show up late or he'll never hear the end of it from Tomioka sensei.

Though he all of a sudden heard an unfamiliar sound.

He turned around to see an unfamiliar face. His hometown isn't so big so he did himself a favor by memorizing each and every sound his neighbours had.

"Who is this kid? He's wearing our uniforms." He thought.

He had burgundy hair, with ruby red eyes. His sound was different...but in a good way.

He could listen to his sweet melody for hours and hours on end.

But that sounds kinda creepy.

Zenitsu just assumed it was best not to talk to him yet.

Maybe in his own time though.

He turned back around and continued walking to school.

"Hey!" When he turned around again he saw the burgundy haired guy sprinting towards him.

Zenitsu froze up, but continued to walk away trying to brush off his voice.

"M-Maybe he's not talking to me. Maybe he's looking at another person, y-yeah that's it. I'll just ignore him and-."

The boy grabbed his shoulder and turned him back around to face him.

"Uh, hi?" Zenitsu waved nervously.

"Hi, I'm Tanjirou Kamado. I assumed you went to the same school as me because of the uniform and all. Mind showing me around when we get there?"

This Kamado guy asks him.

Zenitsu sighs in relief. It wasn't anything big.

Not much to worry about, this'll be over and done with in a heartbeat.

"Sure thing Kamado-." Zenitsu smiled and walked away with him.

"Tanjirou!" Tanjirou interrupts him. Zenitsu replied with a weird, more or less awkward expression

"Well in that case you can call me Zenitsu, Zenitsu Agatsuma. Not much to say except that I have really good hearing." Zenitsu smiled softly.

"Ah that's really cool, I've a great sense of smell."

Tanjirou adds.

"That's nice." Zenitsu responds shyly, he wasn't really a people's person, unless if it was with a girl. Then he'd spend all his time with her~ but he's not a girl so it doesn't count.

"Oh we're here." Zenitsu says and points at the large school infront of them.

"That's Kimetsu academy? It's way bigger in person, not to mention prettier." Tanjirou gazed at the cherry blossom trees.

"Yeah." Zenitsu says.
