Monday, First day of school.

"Let's get going." Tanjirou grabs Zenitsus hand and runs towards the school.
"H-hey- wait!"
"How does he have so much energy?!" Zenitsu thinks as the cold air brushes against his skin.
"Stop right there!" And with that Tanjirou stops in his tracks, Zenitsu almost falls over but stopped himself from heading face first into the pavement.
Tanjirou turns around, his fingers still intertwined with Zenitsus. Zenitsu looks at their hands and blushes a bit, for he has never held someone else's hand before.
Pretty sad huh?
"Earrings violate the dress code, remove them now." Says the person who stopped them.
Zenitsu knew for a fact this boy wouldn't stand a snow balls chance in hell against Tomioka sensei, so he decided to step in.
"Tomioka-sensei, this boy is new so-"
"And you! Dye your hair back." Tomioka-sensei interrupted him.
"But it's natural-"
"Don't talk back!"
Tomioka-sensei threw a punch right to Zenitsus face. He fell to the floor and whinced in pain.
"Hey!" Tanjirou yelled.
"That was uncalled for! Why would you hit my friend like that?!" Tanjirou yells out on pure rage.
"He talked back."
"But he's in pain! You seriously hurt him your aware of that right!" Tanjirou frowns.
Tomioka-sensei closes his eyes and sighs.
"What did he expect? And you too, I'll have to confiscate your earrings-"
When Tomioka-sensei opens his eyes the first thing he notices is that the two boys had escaped his grasp.
He hears a loud shout in the distance.
He looks up and sees the rule breaker boy running away carrying Zenitsu, princess style
"I'm sorry these are family heirlooms!" Those words and the fact that they left without dismissal infuriated Tomioka.
He swears that he will one day get revenge on the rule breaker boy.

"What did you do, what did you do!? Tomioka-sensei has us on his hit list now!" Zenitsu screams while whining in Tanjirous arms.
"Repent! You dragged me into this to now repent!" He shook his arms around and cried.
"And put me down while your at it! People are staring." Zenitsu blushes ever so slightly.
"That doesn't matter I'm taking you to the nurses office." Tanjirou states.
"Nurses office!? I'm not even that hurt I don't need the nurse you idiot!" Zenitsu pulls on Tanjirous hair.
"Ow ow! Let go stop." Tanjirou begs him but he doesn't loosen up.
"Besides you've no idea where the nurses office is anyways!"
"Then I'll find it."
"This school is so big? How could you possibly hope to accomplish such a task?" Zenitsu says.
"I can just follow the scent."
"Scent of what?"
"Of nursing supplies." This confuses Zenitsu a whole lot, does everything smell to this kid? He remembers him saying he had a keen sense of smell, but he didn't imagine it was this good!
Tanjirou began sniffing around a bit, dragging in more unwanted attention.
"Second floor!" Tanjirou thought and began running up the stairs, then took a left. Zenitsu couldn't believe his eyes. He was actually going the right way, what's up with this!?
In an attempt to stop Tanjirou from making the worst mistake of his life Zenitsu spoke up to him.
"T-Tanjirou seriously, I-Im fine I don't need the nurse I promise!"
"That's a lie, I can tell your in pain from your scent."
"HE REALLY DOES SMELL EVERYTHING!" Zenitsu thinks as they finally arrive at the nurses office, AKA the devil's layor.
Tanjirou put Zenitsu down and walked towards the door, Zenitsu grabbed his shoulder with the intent to STOP him from doing something so utterly stupid.
"You wanna know why I didn't want to go to the nurse? I'll tell you. The woman inside there is the most creepy, most terrifying, most scary woman you will ever meet.
She always wears a smile but you can tell just by a glance she's pissed. It has an aura!Shes got the most brutal way of healing someone it scarrs one for life!
So basically just don't bother! I can patch myself up." Zenitsu says and tries to walk away, but Tanjirou grabs him and pulls him close.
"She cant be as scary as my mom when she gets angry, c'mon let's go." Tanjirou proceeded to crack open the door to hell.
"SERIOUSLY TANJIROU I'M BEGGING YOU! DONT MAKE ME GO IM FINE I PROMISE!" Zenitsu screamed and wailed.
"You'll cause a scene stop screaming."
"You caused it first stupid!" Tanjirou pushed aside his words and opened the door fully, he saw a young woman with a purple butterfly pin with black hair that also fades to purple. She didn't look scary at all.
"Oh my, how many students did Tomioka-sensei hit now?" She turned around.
Tanjirou couldn't seem to figure out how Zenitsu found this woman scary, she was beautiful and her smile was immaculate.
"Oh, Zenitsu is here again. That looks like a nasty bruise, let's get that dealt with." She smiles and directs Tanjirou to put him on the bed.
Zenitsu held onto Tanjirou and it was painfully clear he had no intention of letting go.
But Tanjirou shook him off.
"Hello there, Kocho-sensei right? Your name plate was on your door. I'm Tanjirou Kamado and I'm new here. My friend here got punched by Tomioka-sensei, you wouldn't mind helping him do you?"
He asked while smiling ear to ear.
"Oh not at all. Please wait outside for a moment."
"Understood ma'am." Tanjirou walked out, but when he was closing the door he looked into Zenitsu's eyes, they just screamed "Don't leave me." but sadly Tanjirou couldn't do anything now, what's done is done.
He shuts his eyes and closes the door, leaving Zenitsu alone with Kocho-sensei.

After a few minutes Zenitsu came tumbling out of the office.
He looked terrible, like a zombie, like his whole body was drained of life.
"Zenitsu are you ok-"
"I can't believe you left me alone with that witch! You will pay dearly for that you damn traitor!" Zenitsu punched his chest, but he wasn't all that strong.
"At least you're healed." Tanjirou smiles.
"Healed? Hah funny joke I only feel worse." Zenitsu says.
"Well let's go, classes will start soon." Tanjirou held Zenitsus hand again. Zenitsu stares at their intertwined hands looked back at him, only gramps had been this nice to him before.
