Chapter 6: Sleepover!

Class finally finished and Tanjirou let out a huge sigh of relief.

He thought class was never gonna end.

"School day is almost over you know. We'll just have to get through lunch and one last lesson!" Zenitsu laughed.

"Yep I know." Tanjirou tried avoiding contact with him.

"Hey it's lunch time now! How about we eat lunch together?" Zenitsu asked

"Uh okay." Zenitsu grabbed his hand and smiled, Tanjirou smiled back. Then they both walked away together.

They were both eating on a bench outside now, beautiful day really.

"O-oh yeah Zenitsu, how is it that you were in the same class as me?" Tanjirou put down his bento and turned to him.

"Eh?"

"You are a second year right?" Asked Tanjirou again.

"They bent some of the rules up, not enough first years this time around, so some of the second years are attending the same classes, just harder work." Zenitsu finished his lunch and put it aside.

"Oh. So that means we'll be in the same class for the rest of the year?" Asked Tanjirou. Zenitsu nodded.

"I guess yeah."

"Oh by the way, are you okay with chemistry? You looked like you were struggling." Zenitsu said.

"No I'm fine with it, I just had something on my mind." He sighed.

Zenitsu narrowed his eyes, and he reeked of disbelief.

"If you say so." Zenitsu stared up at the sky. Zenitsu took his phone out of his pocket and checked the time.

"Oh, that's it for lunch, you have Himejima-sensei, am I correct?" Zenitsu asked Tanjirou, Tanjirou stood up and nodded.

"Oh alright then, I'll see you later then." He smiled and walked away.

"Bye Zenitsu." Tanjirou waved calmly, when Zenitsu was out of sight Tanjirou took a deep sigh.

Then fell to the floor.

He clutched his heart and blushed like crazy.

"A-Adorable! He's adorable!"

"He's so cute." He whispered.

He thought. He got up and calmed himself down. He walked away and pretended like nothing happened.

Little did he know Zenitsu was still behind the wall, he was listening to him.

"Did Tanjirou call me cute?!" Zenitsu slapped his cheeks.

"No I'm hallucinating!" He ran away.

Tanjirou stepped into class, he looked left and right for the teacher, maybe he was still on his way.

He took a seat at the back of the class.

Normally he likes to be in front but right now he really doesn't want people to notice him.

He's really a hot mess right now haha.

The door opened and the classroom flooded with students. What followed after was the teacher, he really did not expect his teacher to look like that.

He was huge! He had a scar on his head for some reason, he looked really scary. And hes got this menacing aura to him.

He walked up to the chalk board and took the chalk.
