Episode 10: Stones Unturned

"11:00 A.M"

Henry and Vito drove down the freeway, passing by oncoming traffic as they were on their way back home from the dockyards.

Henry: Before I went to stop by to pick you up,my brother Ralphie had talked me at the store. He asked me who I was waiting on.

Vito: And what did you tell him?

Henry: I told him that I was waiting on you and Danny to come back so we can leave.  So he told me that you Italians and that I'm gonna get myself killed, messing around with you guys.

Vito: You should've listened to your brother.

Henry: No way! Why should listen to that selfish prick now?

Vito: Because he's trying to look out for you, Henry!

Henry: All throughout my life,he's brought me nothing,but absolute torment! When I was in the military he stole all of my glory for defeating the Onyx Nation's colonel! When I was  at the lowest point in life,he did absolutely nothing to help! Why on Earth would I need to take his advice out of all people? Give me one good reason!

Vito: If Ralphie didn't give a damn about you then would he tell you that us mobsters were bad influence?

Henry looks at Vito.

Vito: Look! This gangster isn't it! It's not worth risking your own life for some people who couldn't care if you were wiped from the face of this Earth!

Henry: But what about the deaths those mafia movies? Those guys treated one another like family!

Vito: That's all make believe! Nobody cares! Nobody ever has! All Sonny has cared about was himself! He'll use and bribe as many people as he can to keep the feds and other rival gangs off of his back! It's best that you do what I do and leave while you still can before it's too late!

Henry: No! I'm not gonna run from problems anymore! This time I'm gonna man up and face then like a champ!

Vito: Are you sure? I mean I'm down for an one man army and all,but this is just pure suicide, going up against Sonny's mafia by yourself!

Henry: Who said I'm doing this alone?

Vito looks at Henry with one eyebrow raised.

Henry: I'm getting some help with this one!

Vito: Tch! Whatever you say,but be careful! Alright?

Henry: Alright!

The gates of Henry's house opened as his Jeep pulled up into the driveway.

"12:00 P.M"

Vito finished packing his luggage as Henry loaded a fresh magazine into M1191 Pistol before walking up to him as he gave him a handshake.

Vito: It was nice getting to you for this short time! Hopefully you'll change your mind and move out of Westopolis like I have!

Henry: I'll be thinking about it.

Vito nods before heading outside where there was a taxi waiting outside for him. The taxi then drove off as Henry had shut his door before picking up his phone as he dialed in Ralphie's phone number.

*Ringing*

Ralphie: "Hello?"

Henry: Hey! This is Henry! I'm calling you because I wanted to say that I'm sorry for being a jackass earlier. If this is the last time every speaking to you then I just want you to know how much I love you even though me and you have been on good terms throughout the years. Goodbye.

Suddenly the doorbell rung as Henry opened the door, finding two WPD detectives standing outside on his front doorstep.

Meanwhile, Ralphie stood in his living room with a concerned look on his face as his brother had hung up on him.

Ralphie: I can't let him fight this battle alone! He'll never win by himself!

Inside of the basement, Ralphie placed a kevlar vest over his shirt before zipping up his leather jacket as he grabbed a Remington 870 pump action shotgun from the wall. Ralphie then grabs two .44 Magnum Revolvers,a grenade belt with six M67 Grenades and a combat knife as his wife, Laura walked inside.

Laura: What's going on?

Ralphie turns around and gives Laura a kiss.

Ralphie: It won't take long! If I'm not home by dinner then tell the kids that I had to do this and that love them!

Ralphie heads upstairs as he walks outside and hops into his Land Rover before starting up the engine. The Land Rover backed out of the driveway before speeding down the street at speeds of 100 MPH.
