my stupid alarm clock woke me up abruptly. i hopped out of bed and tied my hair back into a small little ponytail.
"woah.." i feel dizzy and sit back down onto my bed. maybe i got up to fast?
no no... that cant be it- now my stomachs hurting and i feel sick...

"kenma, its almost school time whats going on?" asks my mum as she barges into my room.
"i feel a bit- dizzy..." i say lifting my hand to my head to give it support.
"darling, have you been studying to much? hmm... what about a mental health day?" she asks
"i guess... i would like that alot" i say gratefully- my mum isnt too strict so i knew she was gonna let me stay absent today

i flop onto my bed and play games on my blue nintendo lite. 'gosh my head' i think as i turn on my game. halfway into the level im trying to beat i get interrupted by a knock on the front door of my house.

'what time is it' i think '3:16'. who would be here after school? mum was out at work so i was home alone.

"who is it?" i say sleepily- "oh hey kuroo"
"ello! i have todays homework for you" he says cheerfully and inviting himself in
"pardon the intrusion~" he says.
"yeah yeah" i add. we walk into the living room and i place a cup of tea on the table for kuroo to drink.

"are you sick?" kuroo asks
"obviously?" i say confused- i also goggle at how dumb he is.
"aww your hair is in a little ponytail" he says grinning at me as always.
"GAH- WHA- ITS BECAUSE- uh... it was in my way" i say awkwardly.
"i know, i know. it looks cute like that" he says winking as he drinks from the cup

"ill be going now!" kuroo says
"oh by the way! lev and yaku says hi"

i forgot to say. remember that short boy i talked about yesterday? his name is Yaku and hes very confident and is a good friend.

"tell them i say hi back, bye bye" i say waving goodbye to kuroo. he waves back.
