Today is saturday. meaning no school and finally time to relax and play games.

"kenma! remember the haircut appointment you have today in 5 minutes?" my mum yells from downstairs

i spoke to soon.

i get up and tie my hair up in a small, high ponytail. its getting too long almost past my shoulders- and these roots. ugh

~+~

i put my shoes on and make my way out the door and to the bus stop.
"PUDDING-KUN?!"
UGH who is this? disturbing my week-
"k-kuroo?!" i say blushing.
"where are you off to?"
"the h-hair salon..."
"cool! im coming" kuroo says with possibly one of the biggest grins ive ever seen someone give off.

~+~

"this kind of feels like a date!" kuroo says as we walk off the bus.
DATE? WHAT WHAT WHAT NO NO NO
"dont you think?" asks kuroo, obviously he trying to tease me
"n-not really... we are j-just hanging out"
"if we were just hanging out you wouldnt be blushing at much"
"just because im blushing d-doesnt mean i.. i.. l-like you or anything... im just an awkward person." i reassure him.
IM A STUTTERING FREAK NEAR HIM
no but its ok... like i said im nervous!
YES SO NERVOUS I TURN INTO A FREAK!!

~+~
we arrived at the hair salon and i walk. greeted by a ring of the door bell. i almost forgot the feeling of walking into a hair salon, its been so long.

"h-hello, i have an appointment for a trim"
"kenma? your appointment is in half an hour?" the hairdresser says laughing
"HUH... sorry my mother said 5 minutes, pardon us" i say elbowing kuroo.

we walk out and my whole face is red from embarrassment

"sorry to drag you into this, i didnt know"
"don't apologise! now we have time to hang out for our date!" kuroo karate chops my head and drags me to the nearest cafe.

we walk into the cafe and the smell of coffee and pastries fill the air.
oh wow, it smells amazing in here!

we sit down onto a small two seated table near a large window that viewed the outside street.

"i see why you need a trim"
"i dont really need one."
"yes you do"
"do not"
"yes you do"
"ugh whatever." i break the awkwardness and turn away

"ill really miss your long hair pudding-kun"
"its not going anywhere" i say waving my hands up in the air.
"REALLY? thank god, i really love it, EEK especially when you put it up into that little ponytail"
"omg- you are so embarrassing..." i say nervously.

this really does feel like a real date. the subtle flirting- the cute cafe getup (especially where we were sitting)

and of course the fact i was with.

someone i really, deeply, love
