Y/N's POV
"This...." *stab* "....is..." *stab* "...so..." *stab* "...stupid" *stab* I put the pieces of garbage I picked up and place them into the black garbage bag.
"Yeah well tell me about" Josie replies next to me
I look over to her and see that she has already filled up two garbage bags. Damn. She's good at this.
"How are you so good at this?"
"Cleaning up messes is sort of my thing" she smiles softy
"Oh right.... I forgot your sister is prone to making messes"
"Yup and someone has to clean them up every time she does make one"
"Why can't she do it herself? She's got hands doesn't she?"
Looking up from the garbage she faces me, " look y/n I'm really not in the mood to have this discussion with you so please just drop it"
"Fine" I resume picking up the trash
After about 10 minutes of silence I feel bad about making her upset. I shouldn't of said those things about Lizzie considering she's over protective of her.
I sigh and walk over to her, "Josie...I'm sorry all of this has been hard on you as it is and me making remarks about Lizzie isn't helping you so I'm sorry"
She stops and smiles at me, "thank you I appreciate your apology"
Seeing her cute little smile just reminds me of how hard I've fallen for her over these past couple months. I couldn't stop staring at her lips or eyes. Damn she really is gorgeous.
"Are you ok?"
I snap out of my daze as I see her waving her hand right in front of my face. "Oh yea yeah I'm fine... I just..."
Straightening myself up I couldn't help but just look and gush over her. "Josie..."
"Yes?"
I clear my throat and continue," I umm- I.."
I look into her eyes and become less nervous.
" I was wondering if you would like to go out some time...?"
She looks surprised, "Like on a date?"
"No not like a date!" I reply a little too quickly
She looks disappointed as I say that.
"I mean yes! Yes like a d-date"
Smiling she replies softly, "I've sorta been waiting for you to ask me"
"Sooo is that a yes?"
"Yes it's a yes I would love to go out with you"
