For the Murder of Evil

It's a little hard to see the people who are on the cover, so please click on the picture above if you are reading this on a mobile. Click on the side if on the computer. On the top from left to right are Xan and Zae from my book The Caravan of Hope, and Ikuto Tsukiyomi from Shugo Chara . The two people on the very left from top to bottom are Arba (aka Ren Gyoken) and Judal from Magi. The two people on the very right are Red (the closest picture I could get was of the Queen of Hearts) and Morpheus from A G Howard's Splintered series. On the bottom from left to right are Melody, Jellal, and Ultear from Fairy Tail, and Desire and Dr Vile from my book Elemental Minds. In the middle is Reiji (slash Daichi) from my not out yet book Come. If you have any questions about who the characters are, comment on the character's name and I'd give you an overview of them.

I drew five of the characters, they're mine. I'm sorry for how terrible they look. I was rushing.

Oh, and Reiji is saying "ME??!!!!!!" And he's thinking who done it for the love of evil?

One last thing. This book will have spoilers about the characters, especially if you haven't read the manga and only watched the anime, or haven't read the whole book yet.

"Holy crap! Are we in the wrong place?" I stood in front of a huge mansion. There were massive fountains and gates.

Dummy Reiji. The street is correct, and it says 37 on the plate. Of course it's 37 Main Street. Daichi said in my mind.

Why is there someone in my mind you might ask? Well, I have multiple personalities. Actually, only one other personality: Daichi. We are totally different; I am a skater and a clueless when it comes to logic, Daichi hates sports and had an IQ of 220 or so. Plus, I'm straight and have had twenty girlfriends, he's gay and has a crush in someone.

It's not a crush! Anubis is the best person ever and I love him!

"But he's asexual, and there's no way I'm letting you kiss him." Daichi stayed silent as I opened the gate.

A few days ago, I got a letter telling me to use a certain that was with the letter to take me to another dimension for a party with other "licensed" sorcerers, which is what I am. I can perform magic where I live.

I knock on the big door, and someone opened it. I gasped softly. She was beautiful with her long pink hair and red dress. She smiled at me. "Hi! Come on in! My name is Melody."

If there is one thing I can do better than Daichi besides sports is to interact with people. He can't put up a decent conversation with anyone.

I took a deep breath and smiled. "Hello ma'am! The name's Reiji. Are you the one who sent the letter to me?"

To my shock, she shook her head. "No, there's another eleven of us who got the same thing. We don't know what's going on."

I followed her to a room where there were people scattered around. The ceiling was high above me, and a few windows. The huge room was illuminated by many lights, since it was after all, nighttime. Don't ask me the time, but since it was summer, when the Sun sets later, I'm guessing that it was late.

Judging on the moon's position, eleven thirty. Shut up Daichi!

There was also food and drinks. Melody left to join two others.

I went to a corner where there was a lot of food. There was also another man who was a little yonger than me. "Nice food, isn't it?"

"Don't know, I just got here," I said, picking up some food. Then I saw a little kid (I mean little) dressed up in a cat costume sitting down on the man's shoulder. I'd admit that I probably stared a little too long.

He caught me staring. "This is Yoru. He's a Shugo Chara- a guardian character. You could say that he helps me use magic to help me be the person I want to be. And my name's Ikuto Tsukiyomi." He rubbed Yoru's chin.

"Hey, Ikuto is the name of a person I know! We and another guy named Anubis grew up together."

Ikuto smirked. "Does he love to tease the girls like me?"

"Yes, but he never smiles, so he does it with a straight face." I see that Ikuto is carrying a violin case on his back. "He loves to play the violin too."

Ikuto nods, impressed.

I pause, remembering what the letter said. "So, I'm guessing that you come from a different dimension."

Ikuto shook his head. "I don't think so, since we both have Japanese names. What other world knows Japanese besides Earth?"

"Hey, I come from Earth too!"

Ikuto nods again. "But what time period? I'm from the twenty first century."

I wince. That means were 900 years apart.

A thousand. We're in the thirty first.

I clear my throat. "Oh, we're not the same time period. I'm from the year 3015.

Ikuto raises his eyebrows, looking quite surprised.

"Hey, do you know who else is from Earth?" I asked.

He nodded and pointed out to me some people, pointing out Melody's group first. "They are definitely not from Earth. They call their world 'Earthland'."

Dang it. I wanted Melody to be from Earth.

Ikuto pointed to a guy with a wand who was half dressed and talking to a woman in a pink kimono. "They're absolutely not from Earth. They keep mentioning a 'Kou Empire' which is famous in their world and definitely not a famous Asian empire."

Wow. He's a history nerd like the Ikuto I know too.

Actually, that's easy knowledge if you grew up in Japan, in which it seems like he did.

He pointed to two men in their thirties who looked exactly alike with their black hair and face, but not with their clothes. "Those twins over there seem like they're from Earth, but they said they're not when I asked them."

He pointed to a girl in complete red everything who was trying to talk to a young man about my age wearing blue, the man promptly ignoring the girl. "They, however are sort of from Earth. They live in an alternate version of Earth where Wonderland is really under the rabbit hole. Do they have Alice in Wonderland in your world Reiji?"

"Yep!" I said with a grin. Daichi, what's Alice in Wonderland?

If you read the books in class, you wouldn't have to ask that question! A girl falls down a rabbit hole and encounters a small, yet bizarre and crazy world that has no logic. I didn't like it.

Ikuto points to a man wearing a tux and having black wings standing awkwardly next to a slightly greying man. "They are in a future where if you have multiple personalities, you can control the elements." He lowered his voice. "Those wings actually you know; we've seen him fly."

That'd be so cool, since I have multiple personalities. But it's more like an alternate version of Earth, since our magic is music. Hey Daichi, what kind of elements do you think we could control?

Don't know, don't care.

See, he works bad with people.

Hey!

Ikuto looks around. "Well, that's everyone."

Suddenly, the clock struck twelve bongs. Midnight. And the lights went out. The screams soon started.

Stay calm Reiji!

No need to tell me.

The lights went back on, and Ikuto stared at me. I shrugged my shoulders, knowing as much as he did.

There was another scream. This time, it was different and came from the same direction of the earlier ones.

Melody was holding one of the members of her group, a girl with black hair, in her arms.

"Ultear!" She cried out, tears streaming down her face. "Ultear's dead."
