A Sokeefe Love Story

Chapter 2 --- Keefe's P.O.V.

I watched as Foster and Biana walked up to the building. Foster was really beautiful today, in her light purple dress and dark turquoise cape. I frown a bit when I see that the color of her cape is the same color as Fitz's eyes. I know she has a major crush on him, it's obvious to everyone except Fitz himself. And because of my stupid ability as an Empath I can feel her longing for him, but that doesn't stop me from wanting so bad to be with her. I will wait for her, for as long as it takes for her to realize that her love is unreciprocated, and that he likes Linh. I know he does because he told me one time when I slept over at his house to get away from my dad.

When they finally get over here I ask Foster if she is ready to find out who she is and isn't allowed to marry. She sarcastically replies saying, "That makes me feel so much better!" I know she isn't a fan of matchmaking but we were able to convince her. I hear her whisper to herself, "Please let me be matched with Fitz, please." My smirk falls when I hear that, but I quickly straighten up, not wanting anyone to see me.

Biana exclaims, "Well we're all here so let's gooooo!!!"

Once we all have our scrolls we head over to Everglen to open them together all at once. I really want Foster to be my number one.

Once we've made ourselves comfortable in Fitz's room, everyone gets ready to open their scrolls. I make one last silent prayer for Sophie to be at the top of my list. Then Biana yells "ONE..... TWO...... THREE...... GO!!!" We all grab our scrolls and rip open the golden seals. I quickly unfold the paper and find my results as a grin appears on my face.
