Mosey POV

Tyrek's eyes are burning into me as I point the gun at him.

"Tyrek I can explain," Amari says

" What is there to explain? I can clearly see what's going on. I should've known you were gonna do some shit like this but I gave you the benefit of the doubt. So what's going on huh? CAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU AND THIS DUDE WERE FUCKING AROUND." Part of me wanted to pull the trigger and end him right but I don't know what's stopping me.

"Tyrek...baby....I'm sorry."

"NOT AS SORRY AS YOUR GONNA BE."

I looked at Tyrek. "You're gonna be the one whose gonna be sorry in a minute." Amari's face was filled with tears.

She turned to me "Lathan you need to leave now."

"No...I want him to be here for this" Tyrek reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone and dials a number. It rings for a bit before someone picks up. "Hey baby, turn back around." Me and Mosey stare at each other in confusion. "You're here? Great, the front door's unlocked, can you come upstairs?" I heard footsteps marching up the steps. "Mari there is something I've been wanting to say for a long time."

"If your ass don't say what you have to say imma shoot you!" Mosey shouts.

"Lathan don't shoot him please!" I step in front of Tyrek, I don't want any more blood on my hands.

"HELLOO" a loud voice shouts from the hallway. I step away from Tyrek. He opens the door and then snickers to himself.

"You should sit down for this one." I look at him confused but I still took a seat. "You too" He said to Mosey. Mosey waved the gun he got from my closet back and forth.

"I think I'll stay standing."

" Suit yourself." He motions for someone to come in and I couldn't be any less surprised.

"Why'd you bring this bitch in my room?"

"If I'm getting hurt, I'm not gonna be the only one."

"Oh please you got your nerve."

"You're my girlfriend and you're seeing him behind my back. HE KISSED YOU IN FRONT OF ME."

"YOU STILL HAVE HER HICKEY'S ON YOUR NECK!"

"YOU HAD THIS NIGGA IN YOUR CLOSET MARI."

"You can't judge me when we weren't doing anything Tyrek."

"But we were." Kiana chimes in.

I walk up to her. "Swing bitch!"

"Come on and try it!" Tyrek holds her back...he knows I'll make her ass fly out this window.

"Kiana, baby please."

"Tyrek let me at her!" Kiana tells him

"Tyrek you son of a bitch."

"Mari, go to hell."

"Me and Tyrek are in love!" I look at her

"In love my ass."
...

Mosey's POV

I just wanna say.

What the actual fuck. This is beyond me.

Does he want her or does he not. It's too much for me to process.

"Mari." I say trying to get her attention but she's far gone. Her face is bloodshot red. I take the gun and shoot off one round into the air and even the hoe that Tyrek brought in stands at attention.

"Now that I have everyone's attention-" Just then Rosko and Jay bust in with a spatula and a fucking spoon.

I've had enough.

Then I hear someone laughing. I look back and I see Amari just sitting on the floor laughing.

"Y'all heard a gun and y'all brought a spatula and a spoon."

Then I put my gun down and started laughing.

"Why y'all laughing?! Ain't shit funny!" Tyrek shouts.

"I've had enough of you for today." Mari says. She looks to me "Mosey I need a ride."

"Say less." I help her off the floor a we slowly walk through the door as Tyrek tries to follow.

"Mari!" Tyrek shouts but she doesn't respond.
Where now at the front door and I reach for the handle and open the door for her.

"Shall we." I say to her. She looks at Tyrek once more and she walks through the door, headed for the car.

"It's not over yet. She will come back to me eventually. You're just a little phase that she needs to get over. You don't know her as well as you think you do. You should ask her where she got that gun from or an even better question, where are her parents?" Tyrek says to me.

I say nothing and I head to my car.
