HAMILSQUAD
+*+
I was bored one day and so I have written something extremely cliché
+*+*+"It's so unfair!" Alexander Hamilton screamed as he entered the room of his friends, flopping down on the bed kn exasperation, letting out a huff as he pulled a few strands of his mane of hair out of his face. He could feel anger boiling in his veins, and he knew he was going to shout the next few words.
John Laurens immediately jumped as the other boy flopped onto the bed he was sitting on, sketching a picture of a bird flying its way across the sky. He scratched his head awkwardly, his hand getting stuck in the curls for a while before he placed his sketchbook down to give a small hug to the other boy.
"Mon ami, what's wrong?" Lafyatte asked, walking out of a small kitchen compartment of his room, which he shared with John. None of the two were really all that great when it came to cooking, but Laf had still managed to install a small stove and oven in their room. He was trying to learn how to cook anyway. Trying and failing.
"Remember that group project we all had where we had to write 25 pages?" Alexander asked with exasperation, now lying on John's legs, the soft and fuzzy fabric helping him calm down slightly, with neither of them complaining, because he was too pissed at the world to even care about the smallest details at the moment.
"Yes?" Lafayette answered in a questioning tone as he sat down on his own bed and faced the other two boys, fumbling with the strings on his jacket for a bit, before another dark-skinned boy entered the room, slamming the door open and nearly knocking it off its hinges, but they all only jumped a little bit, nothing really new with that, and they got used to it.
"What's happening?" Hercules Mulligan asked with a bright smile on his face, eyes widening as he realised that Alex had his 'pissed face' on and moved quietly to sit on a spot beside Lafayette, smiling innocently as the other boy groaned again, causing him to shift uncomfortably on the bed.
"So Jay only wrote five pages for the papers we had to write in the group project, right? And Madison wrote 29?" Alex shouted as he rocked himself side to side on the bed, clearly not noticing the slight discomfort on John's face as he rubbed his sweater.
"Yeah," Hercules said, nodding quite enthusiastically even though the little man just shouted at them a few seconds ago. He remembered that project. He was paired up with Laf and Sally, which was not really all that bad, but he could not say the same about Alexander.
"And then they both got full marks, so I waltzed into Washington's office and fired off into a full rant with how little they contributed and how much I did, then he got into this crap saying it was a team effort!" Alex finished, in a much lower volume as he curled up into a ball, doing his usual angry pout.
"That sucks..." Herc said, not really offering much to the situation. He found himself being abnormally quiet whenever Alex would fire out his rants, and he found himself liking it that way. He fiddled with the zipper on his vest as he watched the other boy pout and face the wall.
"Oui, mon ami. That is quite unfair," Laf said, nodding in agreement. Out of all if them, he seemed to be one to catch up to the boy's rants the most, and that was probably because they were quite similar in some ways. Both orphan immigrants and often overlooked.
"A'ight, Alex, I'm gonna be real with ya, while that is quite unfair, you can't just go around dwelling on it for too long and just shouting everything you hate about the world," John said as he shifted in his bed, leaving more room for the other boy to stretch his legs and pout.
"John's right. You can't get what you want through shouting," Herc said with a nod, as the other boy finally managed to collect himself together and sat up on the opposite bed, sitting beside the freckled boy, a little too close for any average person but they were all used to it at this point.
