Chapter 1

"Next movie naaaaa!" April shouted while smashing the pillow.

We're here at Kidlat's house, in his room.
Dito namin napag planuhan na gawin yung research paper namin.

We're classmates.

12th Grade in HUMSS strand.

Ang nalayo lang samin dahil iba ang strand na kinuha ay sila Lucas, Lance at Riane. They're all STEM students. Silang tatlo ang wala dito dahil busy sa sarili nilang research paper.

"I want The Fault in Our Stars!" Francine jumped out of bed while rasing the remote.

"Okay, okay girls." Kidlat took the remote from Francine.

Napangisi ako kasi parang napipilitan lang si Kidlat.

Well, they really love to watch Romance Movies. Except him.

We already done our research paper. That's why nag kayayaan na sila manood ng movie. I'm comfortable naman in different genres of movies so I'm just go with the flow.

After watching The Fault in Our Stars, nauna nang umuwi si April, Francine at Eunice.

Naiwan ako dito with Kidlat. Tinulungan ko na sya mag ligpit ng mga kalat.

I'm about to take the vaccum cleaner when he took it fast to precede me.

"Ako na."

I just nodded as an answer.

There's nothing to do naman na so I sat on his bed while watching him cleaning the floor.

When he was finished cleaning, he sat beside me while doing something on his phone.

I saw his sweat on his face and neck so I took my handkerchief in my pocket.

Pinunasan ko pawis niya ng dahan-dahan. I suddenly stopped when I realized na kanina pa pala siya naka tingin sakin.

"W-what?"

"You're so beautiful." he said in a fruity voice.

"Thank you." I replied fast and looked away.

"Crush parin talaga kita," he smirked and nodded. "Kailan nga uli ako umamin sayo? Grade 8?" He asked in a manly voice and suddenly laughed.

"Why are you quiet? You're actually blushing!"

Napahawak ako sa pisngi ko.

I rolled my eyes to him and smashed his arms.

"I'm not blushing! You're so epal!"

"You're so epal!" he mocked.

"Shut up Kidlat!"

"Shut up Kidlat!" he mocked again.

I stood up and walked towards the door.

I'm about to open it when he suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Selena, I'm always thinking of having you in my life." he murmured.

"You already had me since then. We're friends!" I replied and laughed. I stopped when I realized the awkwardness and seriousness on his eyes.

"Yah you're right. My, friend." he nodded and released my waist.

Tumalikod siya at humawak sa sintido niya habang ang isang kamay niya ay naka hawak sa kaniyang bewang.

May mali ba sa sinabi ko?

Part naman na talaga ako ng buhay niya kasi matagal na niya akong kaibigan.
