Jail Break || CHONI

Chapter 7

Toni's pov:

Sweets, Fangs, and I have been at Cheryl's for about an hour now, eating dinner in silence. I explained to the guys what happened all those years ago and they understood. I also found out that it was just Cheryl and Ava which I am so happy about. I feel like I might have a chance.

"Well this has been absolutely great Cheryl, but Fangs and I have to wake up early for work to we should probably get going" Sweets said.

Wait, they don't have work tomorrow...

I looked at Sweets, confused until he caught my eyes and gave me a wink. After that I knew exactly what he was doing. Fangs finally caught on too when he said,

"Yeah Cheryl thank you for having us, you a great cook by the way" Fangs smiled.

"Oh okay, I will see you guys again soon?" She asked.

"Yeah for sure" Sweet Pea said as they slowly backed away towards the door.

"Byee" Ava said in that adorable little voice of hers. She's so cute, I love her already.

When they left, Ava turned to me and said,

"Toni, do you wanna come see my dollies?" She begged with an adorable little smile and I couldn't say no.

"Uh, sure if that's okay with your mom"

Ava then turned to Cheryl and said,

"Pweasssse, mommy!"

Cheryl sighed and said "fine but you need to be in bed by eight thirty"

"Ok mommy, come on Toni let's go" she yelled as she pulled me away from the table. I got a quick smile in at Cheryl to which she returned before I was dragged upstairs by a little, surprisingly strong, 5 year old.

Cheryl was tucking Ava in bed as I was watching from the doorway. They have a really strong relationship, which I loved. Cheryl was an amazing mother to her.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I something Ava said caught me off guard.

"Mommy, I really like Toni. Can we pwease keep her?"

I saw Cheryl smile before saying,

"I don't know yet baby, we'll see what happens"

"Ok mommy"

After that Ava turned around, and slowly fell asleep. Cheryl turned back to me and motioned for me to follow her out which I did. When we got downstairs, we sat on the couch and talked for a little while. We talked about what we've been up to lately, how Cheryl had Ava, and why I didn't get many years in jail.

I was about to leave when all of a sudden, I felt a soft hand gently turn me back around.

"TT please stay with me tonight? I get nightmares about my ex sometimes and I would really like it if you stayed with me" she asked in a nervous tone.

I felt so bad. Who would treat Cheryl so badly then just leave her alone to raise a kid all by herself?

"Of course I will stay with you cherry" I smiled.

She gave me a small smile back. I walked passed her and to the couch getting the throw blanket off of it to sleep on until Cheryl said,

"Um TT what are you doing?"

"Oh, I thought-"

"Come on, your sleeping in my room"

"Oh okay"

She led me to her room and went to her closet. When she got out she gave me some shorts and a t-shirt.

"You can change in the bathroom"

When I finished changing, I walked out the bathroom to see Cheryl already changed and laying in bed. I slowly layed beside her awkwardly staring up at the ceiling.

"Can we cuddle TT?" She whispered.

"Of course cherry"

She scooted over to me, pure her arm around my stomach and layed her head down on my chest.

"Goodnight Toni"

"Goodnight Cher"
