It was 4:30 and (l/n) hadn't left her house. Semi was sitting in his car outside, lying in wait. The girl hadn't shown up yet, but she was old enough to drive. Tired of waiting and checking up on her social media, Semi went up to knock on her door for the fifth time.
He knocked four times in a steady even pace. Everything about Semi was steady and even. That's how he kept control.
The door still didn't open. Maybe she did go out. Maybe she did stand him up. There weren't any cars in the driveway, maybe that should have been his first hint. But still, Semi was curious.
It was clear nobody was home. So maybe he could look around a little...
Walking around the house, the boy looked for an entry point. An open window, an unlocked door, a cellar door. Anything.
In the end, he decided he had to smash a window. It would be loud and inconvenient, but it was the only way. So Semi picked up a rock and smashed into a window at the back of the house.
He cringed at the ear piercing noise that couldn't seem to be any louder. Carefully picking out the glass and cleaning up, he entered.
The house was tidy and looked peaceful. Almost like it was too perfect to touch.
Of course she lives here. It's the perfect little house for her.
He walked around the kitchen and looked at all the cutlery and dishes. There were no dirty dishes in the sink. Semi made his way to the living room next where he sat on the couch and stretched his legs out. He felt welcomed. At home.
The sense of dread that someone might be home or come home was overwhelming to Semi, so before he went upstairs, he talked himself out of it.
Next time I get in here, it'll be when I know there's no chance of anyone getting back anytime soon.
He slipped out the window gracefully and landed on the soft, cool grass outside. Swiftly, Semi ran back to his car and after five more minutes of waiting, he let out a sigh and pulled out of the driveway.
Lo and behold, while he was driving out of the cul-de-sac, a dressed up but messy looking (l/n) was busy walking down the street. Semi squinted to see if it was actually her, and when he confirmed it was, he smiled to himself.
He slowed down and rolled down his window.
"(l/n)?" The ash-blond boy asked, feigning confusion. (l/n) quickly and hastily smoothed down her hair and loose dress before responding. "I'm so sorry, I was busy with my girls and I didn't have your number to tell you I would be late."
Excuses.
"No problem, you can just hop in the car now and we can go to see a movie."
She's slipping.
"Um... If it's not too much of a hassle..."
Don't let her go.
"Yeah, it's no problem."

(l/n) ducked her head and swung her legs into the passenger seat of his car, closing the door behind her. Her legs were mostly exposed, so Semi stared a little too long at hem before starting the car. The two started their silent journey to the theatre. Only, after many missed turns, (l/n) knew he wasn't planning on taking her to the movie theatre. Getting antsy, (l/n) tried to hide the growing anxiety in her voice.
"So um, where are we going first?" She croaked out, slightly turning her head.
"Oh! I completely forgot to mention we're heading back to my place so I can change quickly. I got some dirt on my shirt. Sorry to have worried you." Semi let out a hoarse laugh before returning to silence.
Meanwhile, (l/n)'s blood had run cold. She couldn't go to his house. Something was definitely off about this guy, the way he was so awkward and uninterested but constantly wanted to be around her, the way he already knew her address without asking, how he needed to change despite being in his car the whole time.
She continued shifting nervously in her seat, a habit Semi took note to. Once the two reached the house, Semi turned slowly towards her with an expression that was physically painful to look at.
He looked dead serious like he had no life left in him.
"Listen now (f/n)," He started, already freaking her out more that he had called her by her first name. "We are going to leave the car now." He locked the doors as (l/n) put her hand on the handle.
"If you make a noise, I will hurt you when we get inside. If you struggle, I will hurt you when we get inside. Lastly, if you follow these instructions, you'll be ok." He nodded with a soft smile.
(l/n) nodded, paralyzed by fear a little, but knew she wouldn't be abiding by these rules in about a minute.
The doors were unlocked and (l/n) immediately tried to make a run for it.
Semi managed to grab onto her leg and yanked her back into the car forcefully. "Goddamnit don't be fucking stupid (l/n)!" He yelled at her, but still kept his tone nice and even. "I was trying to be fucking nice!"
"Stop yelling at me and let me go!" (l/n) continued struggling and started sobbing, knowing she wouldn't escape his grasp unless she had a weapon. She punched the hand restricting her, tried to lean over and bite all while screaming for help.
Within seconds, Semi had crawled over the center console in the car and pulled her all the way in, shutting the door around part of her leg and clamping a hand over (l/n)'s mouth.
"Stop thrashing around!"
When that didn't work, the boy pulled (l/n) onto him and twisted her hand behind her back. (l/n) cried out in pain as he pulled even more, sending vibrations through Semi's hand.
She finally stopped moving, and Semi took the opportunity to quickly open the door and carry her bridal style to his house with his hand clamped over her mouth. She tried to thrash more but was quickly restrained by tightening his grip.
Fumbling with his keys, Semi opened the door and placed her gently down. Or at least tried to before (l/n) bit his hand which caused the boy to yelp and drop her. (l/n) took the chance to run to the back of the house to find an exit. Upon finding the door was locked, she ran upstairs for a window.
I have a better chance upstairs where I can lock a door, she thought while running.
Darting up the stairs, she took a left down the hallway while Semi recovered and gave chase.
He found (l/n) on her knees in his room. Staring at the pictures of herself sprawled across his floor, walls, and bed in black and white.
