this is a threat.
(l/n) tore through the forest, scrapes and scratches not bothering her anymore. The road Semi had took was surprisingly full of little bumps in the road, weeds, and small stubs of where a tree used to be. She was panting after running for about 30 minutes straight, but adrenaline and drive kept her going.
No cars were passing by which worried her, but maybe that was a good thing. One of those acts could be Eita. For now, she just needed to get back to civilization.
For a minute, the girl leaned against a tree to catch her strength, cursing the shoes that were too big for her and the lack of a coat. (l/n) was braving the cold of late November/early December in leggings and a sweater. She blew on her hands a little to warm them up before continuing to run.
There wasn't any snow on the ground, so it wasn't too cold luckily. A familiar noise caught her attention as she looked up. The engine of a car was approaching. (l/n) was a little off trail since she didn't want to be seen, but observed from a distance. The car was a newer model, with tinted windows in the back.
Not Semi.
(l/n) sprinted to the trails, flailing her arms for a saviour. In the end, she was too late. The car floored it past her and continued down the trail. She had two options.
1. Go back to the house and hope the car had stopped there. There was a chance that's where it was heading. If it's not, she'd be stuck with Semi for another day. If he caught her running back though...
(l/n) shivered at the thought.
Or.
2. Continue on the road and hopefully get to the end. What was the end? She didn't know. Considering the drive it had taken to get here though, there definitely was a chance she'd die from the elements before she made it.
It wasn't an impossible choice, but it was pretty hard.
She stared Semi a thought, but in the end, her eye throbbed from where he cut her and she pressed on. A cold wind blew through, as if on cue, and she instantly regretted her decision. It was freezing.
(l/n) stuck her hands in her pockets and kept moving.
She thought about her family if she got home.
Her dad and mom were probably worried sick.
While walking through the trail, (l/n) caught a glimpse of someone. A tall man with red hair. She knew him. She knew he wasn't there. (l/n) kept going, her back facing the man. Every so often, a glimpse of red hair would throw her off. At one point, the man was in front of her with his back turned.
Startled, she fell back, the cold sinking its teeth into her hand when it was removed from her sweater pocket. Things seemed pretty bleak when another car sped by.
Lo and behold, a third car was ahead. (l/n) got closer to the trail and waved it down. When it got closer though, (l/n) knew she made a mistake. Her heart sank when a familiar slightly banged up gray car pulled up and stopped. (l/n) turned and ran into the woods, the boy with red hair around every tree watching her. The car door opened behind her and heavy footsteps echoed. She knew she couldn't outrun him.
Her only hope was to climb a tree.
Immediately, (l/n) grabbed onto one and hoisted herself up. Her hands were numb, and she fell.
The boy's footsteps neared, and (l/n) threw herself forward; stumbling to escape. The cold was biting, her legs frozen in her thin sweats.
With every shallow sharp breath, her breath flew back into her face, blinding her momentarily. She didn't even know where she was going, (l/n) was just trying to get away. If Semi caught her he wouldn't be happy.
"(l/n)!"
The voice in the distance broke her concentration for a second. It was scarily close. The girl couldn't afford to look back as she ran, willing her legs to accelerate. Running high on adrenaline, it felt as though she would never stop running.
Until a hand gripped her wrist. (l/n) screamed and remembered her nightmare. The boy grabbing at her wrist with his cold clammy hands. No matter how awful he had looked, Semi would always be scarier to her.
The hand yanked her back. (l/n) shifted her weight to move back freely and ducked under his arm, twisting the wrist and forcing it to let go. Semi used his other hand to grab her medium length hair and pull. She let out a yelp with he grunted trying to keep her in place and get the girl to shut up.
"You fucking bitch," He growled. (l/n) was clawing at his hands, desperately trying to free herself.
"L-let me go! I'm sick o-" She was cut off by a hard tug on her hair. She squeaked and closed her eyes, flinching away. "I thought you finally realized! I gave you everything you needed! A clean home! A FAMILY!" Semi barked at her.
(HAHAHA I JUST IMAGINE HIM GOING ARF ARF)
"ITS NOT A FAMILY IF YOU KEEP ME AWAY FROM EVERYONE. I WANT TO GO HOME!!" (l/n) pleaded. "P-please... Just let me go home. I'll c-come up with s-s-some story as to where I've been. I'll blame it on Yuuji. Just let me go..." She started sobbing quietly.
What a baby.
Clenching his fists, Semi loosened his grip a little and sunk down to her level a little. The girl looked up at him and looked away.
"Hey listen..." (l/n)'s sobs reduced to sniffles. "You know I can't do that... but I can help out with the keeping you away thing."
He tilted (l/n)'s chin towards him. "We can move to a different country. As soon as like, next month. I need to get some money, and then we can get out of here. I'm sure they won't know us in say... France. The case isn't huge. You'll be able to come out with me." He cooed.
The girl stopped sniffling and shook her head. "No no no you don't understand I-I-I need to get home," Sighing, Semi got up and pinned the girl to the ground before raising his fist above his head.
"Ungrateful fuck."
