Chapter 4:
I looked up at Harry, he was hovering over me with Gwen tightly in his arms, "This is our fight Harry, let her go!" I called, he grinned menacing, causing me to sniver, "Very well," He threw her. "NO!" I jumped after her, I webbed the wall then webbed her, I heard a pop, causing my heart to shatter, I dropped down and immediately saw blood dripping off Gwen's head, "No, let this be a dream, I'm sorry Gwen, I should have stayed away from you," I cried into her lifeless body. "Oh Parker," I looked up and Harry lunged at me with a dagger in his hand.
I jolted up, screaming, I took deep breath, trying to calm my rapid heartbeat, I looked over at the time and it read 4:32am, I groaned and plopped onto my sweaty pillow, its was always the same dream, Harry throwing Gwen off the Clock Tower and me being too slow to save her, why won't these dreams go away, I sat up, I ran a hand through my sweat covered hair and decided to take a shower since I'm not going back to sleep. After my warm shower, I crept down the hall toward the kitchen, my feet barely making any sounds as I walked into the kitchen, I grabbed me a cup and decided to make myself some coffee, after I brew the coffee I poured the steamy hot liquid in my mug then I added a lot of suger and milk. I sat at the table and gently blew on my coffee before taking a sip, I feel the warm liquid flow down my throat, warming up my stomach, "Another nightmare?" A soft voice asked me, I froze and turned my head, Crys stood there, wearing baggy sweats, a grey Young and Reckless tanktop and her hair was put up in a messy bun. "Yeah," I said then I looked down at my drink, seeing my slight reflection in the brown liquid, I heard her sigh, "Peter, they are just dreams," She said softly, I stayed silent for a mere moment, "Then why can't they go away? Everytime I close my eyes its the same dream," I said, I saw her sit next to me out the corner of my eye. "I don't know Peter, maybe once you accept the fact that she is gone and it wasn't you fault then they will go away," She squeezed my shoulder gently before standing up, grabbing my cup with her, "No more coffee for you," She said in a motherly tone then she walked over to the sink and poured my coffee out, "That was my special coffee," I pouted, she rolled her eyes, "And what was it called?" She asked, turning and leaning against the counter, "No sleep coffee," I muttered, she sighed deeply, "Peter..." She said, "Crys, I'm going to take a walk." I stood up and quickly walked out of the kitchen quickly.
I ran down the edge of a roof and jumped off, I flipped and shot a web, I swung past cars, I released my web and did a backflip then I shot another web, I turned a corner and my spider sense went off. I didn't have time to react before a metal ball hit me and exploded, the impact caused me to fly backwards through a window, I slid across the floor and groaned, "Long time no see...Petet," A familiar voice said, followed by a menacing voice, I looked toward the direction of the hole and my heart dropped, 'No, impossible.'
