Chapter 8:
"Hello Spider-Man," The Kingpin greeted me, I jumped down from the ceiling and landed in front of the tall, huge man, "Hello, I noticed something different about you, did you get a hair cut?" I asked, trying to hide my fear, "No I ha-" I cut him off when I snapped my finger, "I got it! You gain an extra 600 pounds." I gasped when I felt his massive sweaty hand wrap around my throat and lifted me up, "Look here, Spider-Man, you better have a good reason for being here," He growled, I clawed at his arm, trying to get him to loosen his grip on me, "I just wa-wanted your opinion on a dish I w-was planning on ma-making." I gasped out, he growled and threw me, I slammed against the wooden wall hard, denting it, I fell to the floor and before I could react I felt cold metal hands grasp my arms and lifting me to my feet.
I groaned and lifted my head, my vision blurry from the impact. "Since you are here you can help me with something," The Kingpin started pacing, each step he took made his massive stomach jiggle, even with his white suit covering it you can still see the massive stomach jiggle, "I hear you are in a unit called K.A.I." He walked up to me, I chewed on my bottom lip, I'm grateful for my mask, hiding the expressions that flash across my face, "Oh that? That's nothing important," I shook my head, I cried out in pain when his massive fist slammed against my stomach, knocking the breath out of me, "Lies! Now look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way," Fisk said, taking massive steps back to his desk.
"There is a jet heading to the located of your teammates, I believe their names is Agent Stark and Agent White," He grinned when I froze in place, I then began to struggle against the strong grip of the robots, "Leave them alone! They had nothing to do with this!" I screamed, Fisk nodded to the robot, the robot placed his knee on my back and slammed me against the floor, pining me there. "Now, if you do not help me retrieve a device for my client then I will order the jet to destroy the building they are stationed on, if you do I will call the jet off," He said, he pulled up a screen and I saw how close the jet is getting to Crys and Daniel, "Parker, what's going on?" Crys voice echoed through my ear. I ignored her as I glared at Fisk, "Fine, I'll help you," I said through gritted teeth, he smiled, "Good and just to make sure you don't betray me," He pulled the walkie talkie to his mouth, "Destroy the building," He ordered.
"No!!" I screamed as I helplessly watched the rocket fly across the sky and slamming into the building, I growled as I forcefully pushed up against the robots, I twisted in their grasp and punched them so hard my fist went through the heads, I stood up and ran toward the window, "Do not forget our deal, Spider-Man," Kingpin called when I jumped out the window, I started swinging to the burning building, praying my friends are alright.
I made it to the scene and it didn't look pretty, the building was burning and Daniel was laying on the road in front of the building, my heart quickened when I didn't spot Crys, I ran up and knelt next to Daniel, "Daniel, are you okay?" I asked, helping him sit up, he coughed as he waved my help off. "I'm fine just go help Crys, she is still in there!" He pointed to the burning building, "Help is on the way," I told him then ran into the building.
I covered my mouth as I scanned my surroundings, my heart shattered when I saw Crys laying in a small pool of blood, motionless.
