Delaney’s POV:

I hear someone knocking on the door and I already know its Bella, and I just really want to be alone. Because no one, not even Bella, knows what Chad has put me through. “Go away Bells!” I yell at my door. “Sorry love but it’s not Bella, she’s occupied.”  The deep raspy voice says from the other side of the slightly opening door.

I stop singing as soon as I recognize who that sexy voice belongs too. “Sorry” I go on and say, but it comes out as a slight whisper. Then my door is pushed slightly open and he begins to say something.

Which takes me by surprise because I didn’t think he heard me. “It’s okay love, can I come I?” He ask as he walks further in. “Well you’re already inside, so help yourself.” I comment as I put my guitar on its stand. “Hey, don’t put it away just because I am here.

I like hearing you play and sing. Your voice is so beautiful.” He said, while sitting next to me. I look away from him trying to let my hair fall in my face so that he can’t see e blush a little. “Thanks” I say back as I fiddle with my fingers.

While not moving the hair from face, to make sure Luke can’t see my dry tear marks on my cheeks.

His hands graze my cheek, pushing my hair behind my ear. “Tell me what wrong Delaney” He says, which takes me by surprise because he hardly uses my actual name.

“I think it’s best if I don’t. I don’t want anyone to know the old me, because it never ends well.” I say as I look away from him and stare outside my window.

He clears his throat and says, “Well I don’t want to pressure you, but whenever you want to talk about it. I will always be here and willing to listen.” He then kisses my cheek and starts to head for my door.

“Wait, Luke” I say, as he whips his head around to look back at me. “Hmm?” is the only sound he makes, which is basically saying ‘yes’. “Why did you come to check up on me? Instead of leaving” I question. “Because you need someone to make sure you’re okay and who won’t leave even if you tell them too.

Plus, I was kind of hoping I could get you to smile” he says as he begins to walk out and shut the door behind him.

I get up to go after him, “Hey Luke, would you want to keep me company in my room? I could use it.” I say and give him a slight smile. “Of course! I was waiting on you to ask me.” He says and walks back to me while laughing. And holding my hand. So glad we met.

Hey my amazing gems! I'm so sorry for taking so long to update and when I finally do update. The chapter is really short and boring. I've just been really busy with school. Ugh school :(. But I had got some snow, so I didn't have school. Which meant I could actually finally write another chapter. YAY! But I'm so sorry guys for this chapter being boring and sucky.
