As you, being the friend you are, wanted to escort your friends to their house common room but suddenly, the staircase you were climbing started to move.
"What's happening?!" Harry asked
"The staircases change, remember?" She reminded them.
"Yeah, well, didn't think they change too quick!" you said
The stairs stopped at a random door and everyone got off the staircase before it could change again as Harry entered the door and into the dark and dusty room.
"Does anybody feel like we shouldn't be here?" Ron asked
"We're NOT supposed to be here. This is the third floor. It's forbidden" Hermione told
"Forbidden my butt, they should've lock the door if they want this place to be 'forbidden'." You said.
Hermione wanted to come up with a counterargument but figured not to since you're a persistent person.
Suddenly, the stone goblet started to light itself on fire.
"Let's go!" Harry said
"*MEOW!*" they heard as they looked back to see Filch's cat and they knew this spells trouble if they get caught.
"Run!" Harry shouted as the four of you run away from Filch's cat to avoid getting detention or worse, expelled.
They kept on running as the stone goblets lit themselves on fire as they passed through.
"Quick, let's hide through that door!" Harry suggested as everyone followed his lead.
"It's lo-"
"Move!" You said as you move Harry away from the door.
"Alohamora!" You cast as you unlocked the door.
"Get inside, go, go, go!" You told as they did and you closed the door behind you.
"Alohamora?" Ron asked
"Yeah, from my mom's book or as where she got it from, Standard Book of Spells, chapter seven." You Informed.
They hid until Filch is gone. Ron thought that he thinks the door's locked but it was locked for a good reason too as the four are face-to-face with a sleeping three-headed dog... who's big as the room they were in. The dogs slowly started to wake up and the children got scared as the dogs started growling.
"Alright, everybody... don't-"
"AHHHHHHHH!" The trio screamed.
"Why do I even bother hanging out with you guys?!" You asked as the four of you ran out of the room quickly.
The four of you tried your mightiest to close the door that was locking those three-headed dogs in as one of them poked out. And with all of your strengths combined, you successfully closed and locked the door.
"So who the heck's guardin' the gates of the underworld?!" You sarcastically asked
You said your goodbyes with the trios as you head to your common room as they head to theirs. You would bet that Ron's complaining about why they're keeping that thing in a school and Hermione had found out why and you did too. The thing was guarding something as it was standing on a trap door which means it wasn't there by accident. Once coming across a wall, you then entered the password
"Pure blood." You entered the password.
And magically, the resting stone snake came alive and slithers upwards, opening the path to Slytherin's common room to you. You entered it and Malfoy's annoying head as you sighed.
