I doubt anyone hates Monday's as much as I do.

I didn't really do much on the weekend, just stayed home and watched a bunch of movies by myself.

I slept a lot too, which was why I woke up early for school today. I had around 40 minutes to get ready, so I grabbed my laptop and put on the new Big Bang Theory episode. So many people find Sheldon annoying as hell but I think he's funny. Wouldn't wanna date him, but he's funny.

By the time my mom walked into my room I was just getting out of my bed to get dressed. She gave me an impressed nod and smile and left the room.

I grabbed my black skinny jeans, and a light gray hoodie. I wasn't really bothered to dress up today. I put on my usual make up and went downstairs.

'Morning, sunshine.' Dad said.

'Morning, dad.' I smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek.

I had a great relationship with my parents. I was an only child which meant that I was their only focus, other than their job. Both my parents were managers at the same company. It paid really well, but they always had business trips and came home late from work often. It didn't bother me that much because I knew they loved their job.

'Mandy, your driving test is in two weeks!' Mom exclaimed happily.

'Yup, and my birthday is right around the corner as well, so I'm expecting a car, guys.' I gave them a pointed look and they laughed. I couldn't help but laugh as well.

'Mom, can I have pancakes?' I asked.

'Sure,' she replied as she began making them.

By the time I was done eating my pancakes, I heard a car honk.

'Bye, guys!' I called.

'Bye honey, have a good day!' They called back.

'Yeah right.' I muttered.

'Hey.' I greeted Ashton.

'Hey, hot stuff.' I rolled my eyes at him and he grinned.

I grabbed the cd that I had made in the weekend with all my favorite songs and put it in. Animal by The Cab was the first to come on and halfway through the song Ashton smirked at me and said 'You could just ask, you know.'

'Ask for what?' I feigned innocence.

'You're insufferable.' He laughed as I grinned back at him.

By the time we got to school, our usual spot beside the gate was already taken so we had to park in the back, which meant that we would have to walk all the way to the gate. Which also meant that we would be late.

The first bell rang and I ran to my locker to grab my math book. I entered the class just as the second bell rang and sighed in relief. I hated being late to class. It made everyone stare at you like you were some sort of alien and I hated being stared at. After an hour of excelled math, one of chemistry, and another of physics, it was finally time for lunch. I went to the cafeteria and sat in our usual spot down the back. Michael was already there.

'I hate Monday's.' I groaned as I sat down.

'That makes two of us.' He muttered.

'Hey, are you okay?'

'Remember how the last time me and Calum went to a party, we almost broke up?' He blurted.

'Yeah?' The last time they went to a party together was in summer, and Michael was drunk out of his mind and had kissed someone else. Calum saw that and he was upset for a long time.
