George's POV
Dream looked at me, alarmed.
"You okay, dude?" He asked, concern sparkling in his eyes.
I couldn't manage to say anything, not with my hand filled with blood I had just coughed up. I could only shake my head and turn around desperately for Wilbur. Luckily, he quickly pushed me inside the house and brought me to the bathroom.
After he helped me clean up, I took a few seconds to take in deep breaths of air.
"Too close", I said, still desperately inhaling air. "He almost saw."
"I think you mean he already saw", Wilbur said, his face contorted into a mix of concern and pain. "Some blood kind of, well, leaked from your hand to the floor."
Geez, why do I suck at hiding these things?? "Well, that's great." I said flatly.
Suddenly, a loud bang sounded as Dream slammed open the door and furiously whipped his head in Wilbur's direction, evidently telling him to get out of the bathroom. Without another word, Wilbur slipped out, leaving me and Dream alone.
What a nightmare. Now I need to face the only person I can't have.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Dream began, before glancing down and seeing more blood. "What is going on?"
"Nothing", I said foolishly. Everything, I wanted to say.
Dream looked completely done with my lies. "Tell me."
I opened my mouth, before Dream spoke again.
"Do you love me?"
