Wilbur's POV

There was loud cheering on the other end of the phone, but I had since turned down the volume. After all, if George's neighbours caught me climbing through a window, they'd be suspicious as heck, and I'm trying to maintain my clean record.

Luckily enough, a window on the ground level was slightly open. I snuck out of my house once, and I understood basic tactics on opening windows from the outside. I slipped a hand through the narrow sliver of open space under the window and tugged at the window hinge. The window swung open as soon as I managed to work out the lever that opened the window. After that was done, I squeezed through and managed to right myself in George's home.

I barely took a second glance around the room I was in and immediately noticed the couch. In the living room, I think, I wondered.

The other side of the call urged me to get up the stairs and find George.

"Hurry up, Wilbur!" They yelled. Dream screamed the loudest, and I cringed as I looked out the window. At least no one noticed me so far.

I ran up the stairs, taking two steps at a time, and found myself in a narrow hallway. I quickly went around the hall, opening all the doors and finding one slightly open. It swung open as I pushed against it, and I found George, lying on the floor, out cold. Beside him on the bed was a dog, sound asleep.

I crept inside and whispered at the others for instruction. "He's out cold on the floor, and I don't see anything that's out of place, but..."

"But WHAT? Wilbur, we're literally talking about GEORGE PASSED OUT!" Dream sounded like he was raging.

"Calm down, will you?" I stated. "His dog is sound asleep and I don't want to disturb!"

I looked at George and knelt down, setting the phone on the floor. I found a small flower petal drifting on the floor, and it seemed...

"... blood." I muttered. I grabbed my phone, ready to dial the ambulance. "BLOOD!" I screamed at the call, not caring about waking the dog anymore. "There's BLOOD ON THE FLOOR. BLOOD IN HIS MOUTH!"
