The next morning, with so much excitement Sati woke up and went outside to see that flowering tree. Butterflies were flying over it. It reminded her of their college days. She felt Prayas beside her and turned to look at him.

"You remember I told you that I want my ashes to be buried under this tree?" She asked him.

Prayas didn't like what she said so he didn't answer. She slowly placed her hand in his and touched his face with the other.

"Hey? I am a human and... I want that after.."

"Don't," he muttered. "It hasn't even been a few days since I got you back and you are already talking about these things? Can we not talk about it?"

She nodded.

"Let's have breakfast," he said pulling her towards the house.

While eating she told him how much she liked his place.

"So stay here then," he smiled.

"I have work, my bakery," she replied. "Why don't you show me around before leaving?"

"Sure,"

After eating he showed her everything.

"Who takes care of them when you are not here?" she asked looking at the animals.

"I have hired two people. If I have to go somewhere they come and look after everything,"

"Humans?"

"Vampires,"

"There are other vampires who are interested in farming and gardening?"

"You think vampires don't like farming?"

"No, it's just...you know they are animals and maybe they would drink blood from them,"

"Today's generation of vampires don't drink any of this blood. We go to the blood bank and take blood from there. We have our supply so no one gets suspicious."

"Oh,"

They went back to Sati's house and had lunch. After that, they went directly to her bakery. The staff looked at them in shock as she was back with him again.

The moment the same girls' staff who had asked Prayas's phone number saw him they couldn't take their eyes off him.

"We should try our luck,"

"But she said he is married,"

"Who cares,"

She went inside the bakery and talked to them about the past days in the bakery. Prayas was outside sitting at the table waiting for her. The female staff who said she didn't care about Prayas being married couldn't stop asking Sati a question.

"If you don't mind can I ask you something?" she asked.

"Sure," she replied thinking she wanted to ask about the bakery.

"Is he your son?"

Sati just looked at her not being able to say anything. There was some kind of anger but more than that the question upset her.

"No..." she replied controlling her emotions.

The girl was about to speak but Sati changed the subject by talking about the shop.

She ran outside afraid they would ask another question about Prayas.

As soon as Prayas saw her he smiled. She just stood there staring at him. He understood something was wrong. One of the staff who was busy serving other customers walked to them.
