I've been working on this story for a while now, and I'm actually kinda proud of it. A few things before you read:
- The creator of Tokyo Ghoul created a backstory manga for Hisoka. I'm basing the very beginning of this fic a year after that, so you should go read that first if you haven't already.
- Just a heads up, both Hisoka and (Y/n) are the same age. I hate the fact that most Hisoka x reader fics usually have an underage character. And fyi (Y/n) can hold their own and even help Hisoka out in terms of skills and abilities.
- In the manga all of Hisoka's speech bubbles end with a suit (ex: ♡ ♢ ♤ ♧). Each suit represents Hisoka's inner thoughts in his dialogue. I could reveal exactly what each one means, or you could quickly Google it, but I think you'll try to figure it out yourself ;).
-Listen to the songs! You don't need to ofc, but you know... it's cooler that way.
