Halloween Party (Spencer Reid x Reader)

A/N: This idea stemmed from both Spencer and MGG's love for halloween and also Matthew mentioning his love for Morticia Addams on multiple occasions,

Description: Spencer and Reader show up to the team halloween party in an epic couples costume.

Mostly fluff with no real plot, implied sex but no smut.

Halloween had always been one of Spencer's favorite days of the year. It gives him an almost childlike glee and he can't resist the desire to dress up in an elaborate costume he'd probably started planning on November 1st of last year. This year however. Y/N had insisted on a couples costume and his plan had been postponed to the following year. Now Spencer and Y/N had been dating for a little over a year and she tended to share his enjoyment for all things halloween and also finding new creative ways to scare Morgan each year. This year the team was going to do a sort of halloween get together at Rossi's the night before halloween. That way they could all have some fun together but also Hotch would be able to take Jack trick or treating. Penelope had told everyone that costumes were absolutely required anyway.

"Spence, you almost ready?" Y/N asked as she looked herself over in the mirror, she straigtened out her long black wig and touched up her makeup before backing up to appreciate her evening gown, "Yes, just a moment." Spencer responded before rushing out of the bathroom. Y/N had done his hair and slicked it back before drawing on the appropriate mustache. "I still think we could've come up with something better than Gomez and Morticia." Spencer whined. "Excuse me? How does it get better than the addams?" Y/N questioned on mock offense. Spencer had originally planned something a little more spooky but truth be told he was happy to do a couples costume and he did have a soft spot for the addams family.  And he was utterly obsessed with this look on Y/N, completely captivated. "You do make a gorgeous Morticia." Spencer smiled before placing soft kisses down her neck and her collar bone. "Mm, we're going to be late." Y/N responds. They agree to pick up where they left off later and they head out to the party,

Arriving there, they are greeted by Penelope in her doctor who costume she'd worn to a convention with Spencer a year or so before. "Oh my god! Boy wonder you make an adorable Gomez. Y/N, you look like an absolute goddess." Penelope says excitedly leading them further into Rossi's place. It has been decorated pretty nicely with fake spider webs, a fog machine and other random spooky finds. JJ and Emily are over by the snack table having drinks. They both wore matching sets of cat ears. Rossi had chosen a vampire look. Morgan had opted out of a costume himself and instead just came in one of those cheesy ghost t-shirts that say 'This is my costume. BOO!'. Hotch however had just came in his usual attire but his tie at least had pumpkins on it, very minimum effort on his and Derek's part but they both knew Garcia wouldn't have it if they showed up with no costume at all. Morgan held back a chuckle motioning towards Spencer's fake mustache, "What did she do to you, pretty boy?" He asked. "Hey, no making fun of my Gomez!" Y/N said playfully. "Okay, okay." Derek agreed with a laugh. "The hair though." Emily commented amused as she touches it. 

Later, the party winds down and Y/N and Spencer head back to their shared apartment. After changing out of the costumes and having some fun, they shower together and settle into bed for the night they snuggle together and search for a movie. Spencer finds the addams family and settles on that. "Really?" Y/N asks. "Really." Spencer smiled. "You haven't had enough Morticia and Gomez for the night?" Y/N questioned. "I believe you said yourself earlier it doesn't get better than the addams," Spencer responds, "Awe, did your own personal Morticia change your mind?" Y/N jokes. "Absolutely." Spencer laughs. They spend the rest of the night cuddling, watching movies, laughing and just enjoying each other,
