My Dear Frodo,

You Once asked me if I told you all about my 'adventures' and well I can honestly say that I told you the truth. But I may not have told you all of it. I am old now Frodo, I am not the same hobbit I once was. I think it is time for you to know, what really happened.

It began, long ago. In a land far away to the east. The like which, you will not find in the world today, there was the city of Dale. It's market's known far and wide, it was peaceful and prosperous. For this city nay before the doors of the greatest kingdom in middle earth, Erebor. Strong hold of Thror king under the mountain mightiest of all the dwarf lords. Thror ruled with  surety never doubting his house would endure for his line lace secure in the lives of his son and the life of his grandson.

Built deep within the mountains itself, the beauty of this fortress was legend. It's wealth lays in the earth with it's presious rock's and with great scenes of gold, running through rivers like stone it was. The skills of the dwarves were quite unequal, making objects out of great beauty. Out of Diamond,Ruby,Emerald, and it's rarest sapphire. The deeper they went the more they would get, sapphire was the rarest they could find. Until they found a stone.

The heart of the mountain, the arkenstone. Thror named it the king's jewel, He found it as a sign that is right to rule only if you divine, all would pay great humage to him even the great king Thranduil. Not long after the days begun to turn sour and the night's closed in, Thror's love for gold became too pure that a sickness begun to grow in him. It was a sickness to the mind and where the sickness thrive's the bad thing's will follow.

The first noise they heard was like a hurricane coming down from the north the pines of the mountain creaked and cracked into the hot dry wind.

Throrin "Balin, Sound the alarm. Quickly"

Balin "What is it?, What can it be?

Throrin "Dragon. Dragon!!" He screamed into the halls of Erebor.

It was a fire drake from the north . Smaug had come. The city filled with ashes and blood, dust and ruin. For this city of men, meant nothing to smaug. His eye's were set onto another prize. Thorin and his men rushed to the entrance holding their swords and axes held high they yet thought they were about to get a victory but instead they've gotted nothing but death. Smaug held himself high walking through them as if they were ants. When Thror had reached the treasure room it was too late, Smaug had already gotten their. Thror had no choice but to retreat, and all of erebor was lost.

Thorin "Help!,Help Us! " he said begging Thrandiul

Thrandiul refused to risk the lives of his kin to save his. From that day on the elves did not  help that day or any day since. Robbed of their home the dwarves of erebor wandered the wilderness, once mighty people broke lone. The young dwarve prince took work where he can find it laboring in the village of men but he always remembered the smoke underneath the moon, the trees blazing bright for he had seen dragon fire in the sky,the city turned into nothingness. He's never forgave nor did he ever forget.
