Yandere America x Reader

Requested by: uhh

Yeah, I'm not doing that anymore, sorry. Just feels kinda weird since these things take so long and whatnot.

Anyway, there's no sugar coating it, this chapter is fuked.

WARNING: Death and animal abuse. Reader digression is advised.

Haha, this is probably the second worst combination of words I've ever made, whoops. Got a twisted idea half way through like yeeeaah, put that in, shts quality and it's going to make everyone upset, even myself. Granted, it's brief, but definitely not fun to read. When I get the next one out, it will be so much more lighthearted haha.

The TV sounded quietly in the background while you made some coffee and lunch for your boyfriend. Every once in while you would listen in to hear some newscaster talking about whatever before focusing back on your task. It was the usual stuff, politics, a heartwarming story about a kid in a wheelchair, even your boyfriend appeared in some of the stories.

Dating the representation of a literal country wasn't easy, especially that of the US. After all, he couldn't be found dating a common citizen, that would be absurd. It's an insane abuse of power and position, but more importantly, it would go against his persona. Always putting his people first, supposedly. If word got out that there may be a 'distraction' to his work, the public may take issue. For one, privacy would be thrown out the window and your every move would be tracked and recorded. No doubt you would get haters to mock and humiliate you, possibly even worse. The likelihood of such events is far too high, he couldn't bare even the thoughts.

A small 'mew' came from below you, bringing you back to reality. Weaving between your feet, your cat meowed some more, begging for even a scrap. "Oh, hey kitty. No, you can't have this, it's not your dinner time yet." You said using a baby voice. At that, your cat hmph-ed and slunk off to go stare at a wall your something.

Upon completion, you brought the food over and looked up at the screen, "Local man found dead in his home. Was it really just suicide, or is there more to this scene? More at 6..."

"Poor guy," you muttered, sitting down on the couch next to your boyfriend, "Kinda looks like that dude who catcalled me the other day."

"Weird," your boyfriend bit down into the homemade hamburger, "Hey this is really good babe."

Blushing, you uttered a quiet 'thanks' before nestling into his side. In spite of the gruesome death, you couldn't help but be really happy. With his busy schedule and you having a job, time spent with him was rare. You figured it was best to cherish every moment rather than worry about some stranger. However, it did make you think about an email you got the other day.

"Oh no! The funeral was today, I completely forgot!" You said while jolting up. When America announced his surprise visit, all other plans were cancelled.

"Who died? Well, other than that dude," he gestured with the remote and chuckled before turning the TV off.

"A boy I used to go to school with. We were really good friends until he confessed he had a crush on me, then we kinda cut ties."

"Guess his family didn't get the memo. Although, how did they get your email?"

"It's not like I use a new email, so he still had it from all those years ago. Just a few days prior he messaged me actually, asking to catch up over a cup of coffee. The next email I got was on the day of the meeting, telling me he had died. Car accident I think." You said as you settled back into his side. Somber silence washed over you both.

"Damn, that sucks.." Ame paused to swallow the burger chunk in his mouth, "So anyway-"

"Meow!" Your cat demanded, hopping into your lap and pawing at you hand. Through your laughing however, you missed the scowl spread across America's face.

He opened his mouth again, but before a single word could come out your phone rang. "Just one interruption after another today, huh?" he chuckled, a strange danger dripped from his tone. You were too distracted by the caller ID to notice.

"It's my boss, I gotta take this real quick, sorry." You said, dropping your cat on the couch beside you, then excusing yourself to the kitchen.

The smile plastered on America's face fell as soon as you were out of sight. He yanked the cat by its scruff and held it eye level. "What kinda fukin game do you think I'm playing here, cat?" The cat gave a tiny mew and tried to lick at his nose, "Think you can make nice, just like that? You know what, I'm real sick of your sht. Always butting in, taking away my spotlight-"

He stood, swinging the cat as he approached the window of your third story apartment. The cat squirmed in protest, but its efforts were pointless against the bear trap of Ame's grip. He opened the window, tossing the cat up slightly and catching it by the throat.

"-Well that's not going to happen anymore."

---

When you were finished with the call, Ame was already heading for the door to get back to his regular duties. He seemed a little irked, but you just assumed he was bothered by having less time with you, and you'd be lying if you said you didn't feel the same way. You both said your goodbyes, and continued on with your lives.

For a brief moment you considered showing up late to the funeral, but the awkward nature of doing that overtook your decision. Instead, perhaps a nice evening of relaxation would be in order, TV binging and a nice cup of hot chocolate sounded great right now. Especially with a draft in the room from the window you don't remember opening, how odd. With a shrug, you closed the window and went to set up your activity for the next few hours. The silence of your apartment left you uneasy though, something was wrong, but what? What were you forgetting, why did you feel so weird passing time with nothing to do? Who cares, right now you're too tired to put any thought towards the matter, looking into it after a night a sleep sounds like a much better plan.

The next day you awoke to a knock on your door. Opening it revealed a kid who lived on the floor just below yours, he cradled a lump of fur in his arms.

"Hey is this your cat?" He asked, showing you the animal's corpse. You nodded, too shocked to choke any words out, "Uh yeah, I saw it flying past my window yesterday, so I decided to investigate today and uhm... I'm so sorry for your loss."

"Th-thank you for telling me and..." You said, gingerly taking your precious kitty from him.

He threw you some hesitant finger guns before scampering off to the elevator, leaving you alone to mourn. How did this happen? It's not like your cat was stupid enough to throw itself out of a window that you didn't even open in the first place. No way it opened the window itself, did you have some kind of poltergeist or-

That bastard.
