chapter 5.5
———Third Person POV
"You guys didn't even pick up your drinks!" Jane told them."You said grab your seat before it's taken" Zane said. "So we did."
"You could've at least thrown out your empty cans when you got there" Jane said. "Like, come on now."
"Sorry 'bout that" Sofia apologized. "Here, I'll help."
"Me too" Xena mumbled.
The two girls got up from their seats and helped Jane with the sodas.
"Thanks you for being so helpful, Sofia" Lucas said sarcastically. "I just wish you could've passed me that snack bag on the wa—"
Bang!
Lucas' soda can flew through the air, hitting Lucas square in the middle of his head.
"No Lucas, thank you for agreeing to use your head as a target" Sofia thanked in the same sarcastic tone.
Zane laughed at him while Lucas unnoticeably glared at him.
Soon, the girls were done picking up the cans and Xena and Sofia went back to their seats while Jane went to pick out a movie.
"Alright guys, we have a few new movies stockpiled here" Jane said. "What type of movie do you guys wanna watch."
"Action" Zane said.
"Fantasy" Xena said.
"Comedy" Isaac said.
"Romance" Emma said.
Four of them spoke at the same time before processing what each other said.
"WHAT!?"
"Romance movies are cringe" Zane grimaced.
"Maybe the ones you've watched" Emma crossed her arms. "Besides, fantasy is far more idiotic."
Xena shrunk in her seat.
"Your romance books are based in a fantasy world, the fuck are you tryna tell me?" Isaac asked.
"Realistic fiction to be precise" Emma corrected. "And how is comedy any better?"
"It'll probably bring some life into that 'superior' attitude of yours" Isaac grumbled.
"Who said I was superior!?" Emma asked.
"You act like it, smart mouth" Isaac said. "The same attitude is what the Vice shows us on a daily basis."
Isaac and Emma went back and forth.
"This is the stupidest argument I've ever heard" Nathan picked some popcorn from Sofia's bowl.
"How did we switch from arguing about a genre to arguing about each other?" Sofia asked. "Matter of fact, Isaac doesn't even care about what he watches so why is he even arguing."
Jane then sighed before she picked up a thick, heavy book.
"Look Miss superior, I don't know if you're aware of your attitude towards me but just know I can't afraid to shank—"
SLAM!!
"AHHH!" Isaac screamed before putting a hand over his heart. "Bitch, what gives?"
"Since you all can't come to an agreement, I'll suggest one" Jane explained. "We're watching horror."
Emma scoffed. "Do you really expect me to believe that gooberish nightmare fuel?"
