Chapter 13: Helping Korra

Red's POV:
It's been two years since I came back home, and Korra has made great progress in her healing and therapy sessions. I was getting the Blue Lotus plant from Ace when I overheard some guys talk about my daughter. I growled and walked over to them, when they saw me, they paled and ran off. I chuckled and headed back to Katara's healing hut and saw Korra in the healing pool and smiled. "Good, you're back. Did you get what you needed?" Katara asked, "Yeah, I got it right here. Although, the last time we used it, there were some side effects." I said, "What kind of side effects?" Katara asked, "Burning, and unimaginable pain. Believe me, it's not fun. This plant is how I got my sight back." I said. "Something so powerful, and yet very dangerous. How much did you eat?" she asked, "Just a petal. Then I had to drink a lot of water." I said. I walked over to Korra and picked a petal off the lotus and gave it to her. "Thanks, Red. Well, here goes nothing." Korra said as she eats the petal and swallowed. "Well, it's sweet like you said it was." Korra said then her eyes widened, and I held her as she started to scream in pain. "Korra look at me. Let it happen, it'll be alright." I said as she looked me in the eyes and Kya walked in and knew what happened.

Korra's POV:
I was burning up and I was in so much pain, but Red had me look in his calming blue eyes and I felt the pain and burning sensations pass and I felt much lighter than before. "You alright now, Korra?" Red asked, "Yeah, I think so." I said as I had him help me out of the healing tub and into my wheelchair. I know I can stand on my own, but I still need the help to move and walk. With Red's help and Katara and Kya's healing sessions, I have been getting my strength back and then some. Red took me to the therapy area and helped me start my training. I was able to walk for a while before my legs started to give out. "You're doing great Korra. Just breathe and concentrate on your goal." Red said. I did what he said, and I was able to walk all the way to one part of the room and back to him. "I-I did it." I said happily, "I knew you could babe." Red said. I blushed when he called me babe, "What, is it something I said?" Red asked, "No, no, it's fine. You just never called me babe before." I said. "Really, huh, I didn't notice." Red said as he hugged me, and I hugged him back. "These last two years have been amazing Red, and now were both nineteen. Your daughter is eleven and she's started calling me mom." I said remembering when Kayley first called me mom. "Yeah, that was unexpected, but not something I didn't see coming eventually." Red said. I giggled and he chuckled, we've been dating for a while now and we made a promise to each other that we would get married once we turned twenty-one.

[Venomaster's Hideout]
Venomaster's POV:
"Venotaur has failed me two years ago. My plans are on the brink of collapse if both the avatar and the wolf warrior continue to live." I said as I was beyond frustrated and was having my minions cower in fear. Then, my son walked up and bowed, "Father, I believe I have found something that may be of use." Venomark said holding out an ancient scroll. I took it and opened it, "Very good my son. You have brought one of the most powerful scrolls to ever exist in the human world." I said, "I live to serve you, father." Venomark said as he bowed and went back to his place. I then walked over to the alter and placed the scroll in between the two skulls of my fallen warriors. "Ginrb eseht owt srroiraw kcab ot efil, tnarg meht eht rewop fo eht tnaig! Now, return to the land of the living, Venotaur and Venomeria rise and destroy the Southern Water Tribe! LAY WASTE TO ALL WHO OPPOSE OUR RULE!" I shouted as both my fallen warriors returned from the grave and their spirits went to the South Pole. "This time there will be no mistake. Venomark, Commandocon come forth! I said, "What is you command father?" my sons asked, "I want you two to go to the Southern Water Tribe. If both Venotaur and Venomeria fail again, you two must destroy both the Avatar and the Wolf Warrior." I said, "Yes, father." They said and left for the Southern Water Tribe. "My vengeance will be completed, and not even my father can stop me now." I said and laughed into the night sky.

[Back at the Southern Water Tribe]
Ace's POV:
Layla and I were walking when the ground started shaking, "Ace, what's going on?" Layla asked, "I don't know." I said. Then we saw Red and Korra run up to us. "Why's the ground shaking?" Korra asked, before I could answer two giant monsters appeared, "It's Venotaur and... I don't know who that other one is." I said, "That would be Venomeria, she was Vantu's lover." Red said, we looked at him, "Zen Aku told me." Is all he said. "How are we going to beat them this time?" I asked, then I remembered that dad told me that the most powerful weapons that he and his old team used when giant creatures attacked innocent people. "Red, I have an idea. Remember when Zen Aku summoned the wolf zord?" I asked, "Yeah, I think I know what you're planning." Red said. We ran towards the giant monsters and everyone saw us and told us we were going the wrong way. Korra and Layla helped the villagers get to safety. Once we stopped running and the monsters saw us, they roared, "Ready?" I asked, "Ready." Red said. Then I felt the power of another ranger unlock from the master morpher. "Ace, you ready or what?" Red asked, "Oh yeah, I'm ready. It's time for a new ranger form. Thunderstorm: Ranger Form!" I said and transformed into the Navy Blue Thunder ranger. "Power of thunder!" I said, "My turn, Wolf Storm: Ranger Form!" Red said and became the Wolf ranger. "With the courage of a wolf, Wolf Ranger." Red said, "POWER RANGERS!" We said in unison, "It's zord time." I said as I called my Navy Beetle Zord and Red called his wolf zord. We entered our Zords and started attacking the monsters.
