Chapter 4: Training

Bendy's PoV

I was so excited that its time for breakfast. I ran away from Cuphead's room and sat on the table while he followed. When he came in the kitchen, in front of the dinning table I asked excitedly "What's for breakfast. I want Fried Egg with Fried rice and, ooh~, can you make me omelette  too?", and my smile quickly faded when he replied to me, "Who told you that I'm serving you?" Wait so does that mean I wont be having breakfast? Im so hungry... I don't even know how to cook since my last roommate cooked  for me! I really don't know what to do so I said to him "C'mon I can't go training with an empty stomach!!!"
And he replied making me even hangry "That's Not my Problem, now is it"... I was just sitting while my stomach rumbled out loud, while I said whining "Well, at least teach how to cook!!!" and he said as he sighed which really surprised me - "C'mon, these food ain't gonna cook themselves" once I heard those words from him I quickly jumped out of my seat and stood beside Cuphead. "You can't really do anything yourself, can ya? He said calmly and as soon I heard those words came out from Cuphead's mouth, I looked away blushing from embarrassment. That's strange, he usually shouts at me and has a strict behavior... Well I guess I should know him better since I've been with him in just a day... He gave me the pan and oil and teach me how to cook omelette and fried rice... After cooking we sat on the table and ate what we cook... "Mmmm... YUM!
I said immediately as the food touched my tongue, while cuphead stared at me.... Smiling... "Heh... Someday you'll be a great cook, for that I'm sure" he said in a calm voice.. "Really?" I replied "Nah, it can't be that good" I added. "You, literally liked your own cooking, why think other's won't like it the way you do?" He replied as I blushed through the compliment he gave me.
"I'm gonna take a bath now." He said to me while I'm still sitting by the table, eating the food I just cooked. After few minutes cuphead came out from the bathroom already in his training clothes... He was wearing a blue undershirt while wearing a black hoodie and I realized it's my turn to use the bathroom. He let me use it but only for 5 minutes there I found a... Box of... Blades??? Guess he's been shaving...

   Well, after few minutes I was finally done preparing for training while cuphead is at the door waiting for me... "So where are we training?", I asked him,  He made me follow him and I'm in shock when I saw the GYM, it was huge! They even have a set of katanas hanging around on a weapon rack. I even saw Boris there training with another Knight with their trainer and yet I wondered and ask Cuphead... "So who's gonna be our trainer?" He kept walking forward and answered sighing "I will be, remember when the king says that I'm going to be your trainer, so you better do what I say". I completely forgot the the king said that and I was so confused but somewhat exited when I heard him... I asked him if why don't we have a trainer and got a sigh from him and as he looked at the ground feeling sad I knew that something was bothering him and he answered- "Look, the king thinks that rooks are useless in battle since they only move straight. So he didn't get a trainer for the rooks, not even a great place to train thinking that it would be a waste of money and time" and sighed in sadness. "So Does that mean our training room will be not great than the one we're in right now?" I asked and the only thing I heard from him was a sigh while we're walking towards the back of the gym. That made me think I should brighten up his mood when we stepped into a large dirty empty room... "This is our training room, I know it's filthy but that's all we've got" he said to me but then I got to the dirty floor not caring about myself getting dirty, and did push-ups,"What are you doing?" He asked. I know it's embarrassing but I'm trying to lighten up Cuphead's mood and said "C'mon, what are you waiting for, we gotta train and get stronger. Then we could prove The King Wrong!" I can tell that Cuphead is slowly forming a smile on his face and he thanked me then he pulled me up, not knowing why... "We  should do some warm-ups first to prevent muscle cramp" he said. I completely forgot to do warm-ups so I joined him with his stretches.

When he was getting serious about practicing, he got a weighing scale and made me stood there and I was in shock that I weighed almost 53 kilograms! I mean what did I even ate??? Cuphead glares at me as he saw my weight. "Wow, you really need to go on a diet! Now give me 10 rounds across the gym!", He demanded me. 10 ROUNDS, ARE YOU KIDDING??? I sighed loudly as I heard those demands, then he said to me "Want me to jog with you?" I froze for a moment and blushed lightly and eventually I accepted the offer as we ran out of the gym and went jogging around the big building...

After hours of training. It was time to go home... Everyone was getting packed for them to go home... It's time to find a homie again but Cuphead stopped me from walking away and said - "Jeez, it looks like it's gonna rain... Why not stay in my place again for a while?" Which really made me blush lightly. "R- Really?" I asked in confusion but then he didn't answered me and just faced forward walking with me, until he gently said "Just Don't Touch Anything, Alright???"... I just nodded wearing a smile on my face... Man, the more i think about him, the more I... B L U S H... Do I have feelings for this guy??? That can't be right, I'm straight, besides I... I just met him... But there is this feeling.... Feeling I couldn't control for myself...
