Chapter 12: It's A Date

Cuphead was finished eating the dish that Bendy made for him, Bendy then rushed and got the first aid kit. He then sat beside Cuphead and started curing Cuphead's cuts. Cuphead was surprise of what Bendy did. Cuphead didn't know that the demon cared about him that much. Cuphead, was thinking about when will he tell his feelings to him. Cuphead thought that this was the day, but not the right time. He also thought of what will he give to him as a token of his gratitude. After Bendy covered the wounds by Band-Aids, Cuphead asked bendy if he was ready for training. "You need to rest, wether you like it or not." Bendy said, "But, I'm fine." Cuphead disagreed to Bendy's statement. "No, Your not." Bendy didn't want Cuphead to train after what he had been through. "We already trained enough." Bendy said. And after Bendy's last word, Cuphead finally agreed. "You wanna have fun then?" Cuphead asked the demon. Bendy was shocked and confused at Cuphead's statement. "What do out have in mind." Bendy confusingly asked him back. "Well, we can always have... DINNER." Cuphead replied. Bendy slowly blushed after realizing he heard right. "Where? When?" Bendy asked. "Leave it to me." Cuphead replied. "I'm going somewhere. Can you guard the place while I'm gone? Oh and uh...  I'll be back at sunset. " Cuphead added  to the last sentence. Bendy nodded as if he agreed. Cuphead then took a step out of the door, continued to his journey.

Bendy immediately had an idea. He wanted to surprise Cuphead by cleaning the whole place, since it's really messy. Bendy then puts on an apron, and cleaning clothes and started washing the dishes. He was shocked as soon as he was in front of the mucky sink, with mountains of dirty dishes, it even has a mossy wall in front of it, Bendy himself realized that there was so much things to do here. Bendy then started to open the faucet, put soap on the sponge and started washing and scrubbing the dishes. The sooner the later, he was done with the dishes, he then mix together four cups of vinegar,  1/4 cup of salt and two tablespoons of dish soap, then he putted it in a sprayer bottle and sprayed it at the mossy walls. Then he let it sit for a while and starts scrubbing it. Soon, the moss was scrubbed off the wall. Next, his eyes went big after he saw the messy kitchen floor, he immediately grabbed a broom and started sweeping.

       Meanwhile...

Cuphead was walking down the store, when he met his brother, Mugman, walking with Boris. He then rushed to Mugman and gave him a hug, the blue mug hugged his brother back. "Hey, Mugs! Long time no see! How are you?!" Cuphead greeted his brother. Mugman replied him "It was great!" After letting go of Cuphead. Cuphead in the other hand was unfamiliar to the wolf, he didn't see him before. "Who is this Mugs?" Cuphead asked. "Oh... Uhh... This is Boris!" Mugman replied as he introduced his brother to the young wolf. Boris was glad to meet Cuphead. "Were dating." Mugman said hesitantly. Cuphead was shocked after what he heard, he would usually scold Mugs for dating yet he didn't, sincerely he thought that Mugman was happy with him and besides, he's old enough,  he hugged Mugman and congratulated him. "Be sure to take care of him Mugs!" Cuphead said. "And as for you, you better not hurt my bro, or else!" Cuphead added in a threatening way. Boris an Mugs was a little scared and both nodded as a sign of agreement. Cuphead and the couple parted ways as they said their goodbyes to each other.

Cuphead then went to the mall. He was thinking of giving Bendy a gift, since he saved him from doing a horrible mistake, he also wanted to share his feelings to him tonight. While he was looking for the perfect gift, something... Or someone, caught his eye. It was 2 allies from before. As soon as Cuphead stared at them, they glared at Cuphead. He tried to get away from them as soon as possible, but as soon as they saw the red cup... 'escaping' , they followed. Cuphead then rushed to the second floor, but no matter how hard he tries to stay away, they were just too good. Suddenly, Something got Cuphead's hand. It was one of the ally. "W... What are you doing?" He asked them frightfully. "Aww, someone scared? Don't worry, we will make sure this will hurt A LOT!" One of the ally said making the poor red cup scared. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, he thought of the demon who he adores so much, he  remembered that he  never gave up on trainings,  he never gave up on Cuphead himself, so why would he give up now? Cuphead then got more stronger and confident. He kicked the Aly who was holding h back by the crotch, causing him to let go of Cuphead, "Hey! You'll Pay for that!" Says the one who got hit. "Don't you dare escape!" Says the other one. Cuphead didn't escape, but he fought back. "I'm not going to do the same mistake, twice!" Cuphead said, while glaring at the other two. Both allies then pulled out there weapons. It was a katana. After Cuphead saw their weapons on both of their hands, he realized that they were pawns. Cuphead then pulled out his sword. The two allies and the red cup was battling  against each other. Cuphead got scratched, but eventually pulled it off. Suddenly he got cornered by the two pawns, he could just grab the chance to cut both of their necks wide open but he also thought that it wasn't a good idea. So he grabbed a flash bomb out of his pockets, and set it off. The flash made them not see anything as it almost blinded them.
After they eased their eyes after the flash, there was no trace of the red cup but a note that wrote- "Count yourself lucky!" The two pawns thought that Cuphead wasn't just a jerk but also a scaredy-cat. Cuphead was found outside the building. It was a relief that he didn't got hurt but scratched but he was frustrated that he didn't found a gift to Bendy but a fight. He suddenly remembered something and got an idea. He then rushed to his house.
