Chapter 9: Hours of Training

Cuphead and Bendy was in the gym doing training. What Bendy didn't know, he's partner Cuphead was slowly getting harder on him. He would make him push-ups and if not, countless laps of jogging around the gym.

Bendy's PoV

Cuphead was hardly training me. He would make me do a certain punishment if I do what he says wrong. He started me off with some of the fundamentals. He would made me do a round full of sit-ups, and if I rest, he would glare at me in a frightful way and punish me eventually.

Boris' PoV

I got up to bed getting a tight hug from Mugman. "Why did you make me sleep in the bed, you know we'll that it was a bad idea!" He said to me. "I- I Know but, I can't help my self to help you! Seeing you sleeping in uncomfortably because of me, made my heart beat faster!" I said as I smell the sweet scent of his body he hushed me before I say anything else! "Why don't we eat breakfast!" He said to me.

After we've eaten our food and got prepared we both walked to the gym, going to our particular places

At the middle of our training. I saw Mugman lifting a 10 ton dumbbell! Mugman and his muscles flashed through my mind as I froze. The last thing I heard was my trainer calling my attention and ended up being punished as I felt my face fills with embarrassment.

Bendy's PoV

The next training was held in a mountain, which is the only way up is to take a million of stairs! "Alright give me ten rounds of running up and down that mountain." Cuphead ordered. As soon as I heard those words, I let a loud sigh, thinking that it would take ages for me to get up that mountain, unfortunately I can't do anything but follow him, he's only ordering me this for my own good. As soon as I started, he followed me. At the first fifty steps I was already tired and saw Cuphead already way in front of me. "Oh, Your On!" I thought to myself and raced over him. After a few minutes, I finally catched up to Cuphead. I saw him surprised at me, when I passed right at him. "Hehe! That's the spirit!" I heard him mumbled. As soon as we got on top we went back down and do it again until we did it ten times.
I was on the ground panting of exhaustion. "C'mon, we're not finished yet! He said to me. I wore a frown as soon as I heard those words, but this is my first time having this kind of training so I was somewhat exited!

The next training was held in a highway. "There are 100 traffic cones on both sides on the highway and they are all aligned in this road and it is equidistant to each other. You must get all of the cones one by one, but if you got one cone you must travel back to the the starting point and get the other cone!" Cuphead explained. "This is to build your speed and agiliy, it gives you speed to move and to dodge quickly the attacks and having less chance for you to be killed and being captured instead! " He added. I thought for myself that it will took a lifetime to finish that task but Cuphead challenged me to a race, the winner will get to rest and watch the other train with all of his might, so I wasn't that bummed out. I quickly raced to the first cone and quickly get it as I raced back to the starting line and went back to the road to get the second cone, while I saw Cuphead, already at the eighth one, HOLY SHIT, HE'S FAST! but instead of being shocked I ran even faster! After a few moments of going back and forth, both of us were carrying the same cone which is the 100th one, already going back to the starting point which will be the finish line of our race. We ended up with another draw, me and Cuphead was on the ground panting for air and catching our breaths. Cuphead immediately stood up and gave a hand to me. "C'mon it's a draw, we both need to continue our training" he said. Usually I would give a loud groan to him but something made me all fired up, not sure what though!

Our Next Training was held was on a
Maze. "This is all about brains, were using a maze, that was built by technicians this month for us to use. I didn't have the chance to try it out, and I thought that this was the perfect time to do it! Its is a maze full of obstacles and puzzles! It's a kind of training for your brain. This helps you think for a plan on your daily problems, especially in times of war! Think outside the box, and you can easily get out!" Cuphead explained. It wasn't that hard for me but onced I stepped inside and got further! I got lost and forced to solve a riddle:

I got stuck for a while, but I managed to pull it off. I saw Cuphead already in front of me, so I raced over to him as we pushed each other so that the other won't reach the finish line. At the end, I can't believe it... I Won!!!!! I got so proud of myself! I saw Cuphead having a proud face for me!
"Good Job Short Stack! That's enough training!" Cuphead said. I got super happy when we were done training, besides it was getting dark. "Let's Go Home" he said while we were walking down the street. "Already? Can we at least have... Fun? I heard there's a fair nearby and there's an arcade station right around the corner of it!" I said to him. "I - I Don't" Cuphead mumbled trying to back off his own words. "What is it Cuphead?" I asked what was going on? "I don't really know how to have fun, since I really don't have real friends." He said wearing a frown on his face. I felt my heart ache when I heard those words knowing that he doesn't have friends! "Im your friend, am I not?" I said to him cheering up the mood. He stared at me with his crimson eyes, slowly forming a smile on his face. "So what do you say? Wanna have fun?" I asked. "Yeah, Sure!" He said to me wearing a smile as we walked on the way to the fair...
