𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘, 𝐑𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓; 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑. She knew that caring and loving someone other than her siblings was a weakness that she may never be able to afford but ever since she laid eyes on Caroline Forbes, that plan was challenged more than a few times where she had even thought of confessing her true feelings towards the younger blonde vampire.
But she couldn't. Why, you might ask, well, because Caroline had made it very clear more than a few times that she was not into girls and even if she were, Caroline still had a boyfriend that she claimed she loved. So, that was when Natalia clicked goodbye on love declarations.
She was ready to let go of what she has for Caroline but it was nearly impossible when Natalia couldn't stay too far and she knew it was over when Kol was killed. Her youngest brother, the one she would be always ready to die for and brutally kill for.
"Natalia, look...I am sorry for what happened to him," Caroline called after the Original as she walked off the Gilbert's foyer, her eyes were frantic, borderline manic as she turned back to look at Caroline, "I understand that—"
"No, Caroline!" Natalia interjected, unintentionally raising her voice, "You don't understand anything! My brother was murdered by your friends, my little brother...and all I want to do is rip them all to shreds!"
"But I can't do that because that will hurt you and I don't want to hurt you...," She finished, trailing off as tears formed in her eyes before she shook her head, "I should be avenging Kol's death and I can't do that...I have never felt so powerless in my one thousand years alive and I hate it."
Caroline gulped, swallowing back involuntarily tears. Natalia shrugged, sighing, "So, no, Caroline. You will never understand how I am feeling right now, not even if you tried."
"I love you for crying out loud and you are using me to make sure your friends live. I bet you are still standing here to make sure I convince Nik to spare them and Tyler, isn't it?"
The Forbes sighed, avoiding the Mikaelson's pointed gaze, "I love him..."
"Do you even know what love feels like?" Natalia questioned, walking up to Caroline, "I am sure you don't...It feels like you would rip your own heart out for a 1 out of million chance that this might make the one you love happy, even for a few seconds...it feels like hell with heaven, both together...like getting stepped over hundreds of times because there would be this one time where you will be happy with the one you love."
"Do you feel that towards Tyler? I bet you don't."
