As Leo enters the house, I swiftly carried my bag with my right shoulder, but stopped as I saw something fell out of it.
It was a small paper, folded and a bit crumpled.

Probably another paper Dwyneth was too lazy to throw in the trash can.

I scoffed and went inside, greeting my mom.

"Hey, mom."

"Hey, Erin. How was school?"

I gave her a peck on the cheek, "Same as always." I replied, giving out a boring expression as she chuckles.

I went upstairs, still holding the paper as I put it on my desk and placed my bag in the chair.
I was about to throw the paper in the trash but I got interrupted with a notification coming from my phone.

hey i saw a new froyo shop in front of school, wanna go get some? :)

I don't really have that many chores to do today, so I replied, "sure!"

After sending the text, I picked up the paper and sat down on my bed.

I was ready to see what error Dwyneth may have written in the paper, but I saw my name, making me question what really was inside.

you looked bored in science earlier, Giselle. probably because you already know everything. if u see this, remember to smile.

I was shocked, confused, and a bit flattered at the same time. I'm not known in school, so it must've been from my circle of friends.

I don't really want to think much of it, it's probably just those 3 eggheads pranking me.

I shrugged it off and quickly managed all the things I have to do to clear my case and get them off the list, as I was walking to the front door,
"Where you goin?" I heard him say.

"Just hanging out with Jayson. I did all things I have to do for today, that is if that's okay with you, Leo." I answered.

"Of course. Have fun." he says, turning around.

As I wrap the doorknob with my right palm, Leo again cuts me off, "Be safe." without turning around.
I shook my head slowly while giving out a slight smile as I say, "Thanks. Call me if you need anything."

I arrived at the froyo shop, Jayson is already waiting outside. As I was about to open the front door, he picked up his pace and opened it for me before I even could.

"Aw, thank you." I said.

"Pleasure, your highness." he said jokingly bowing as I let out a slight chuckle.

As we got inside, I stated, "Sorry for arriving a bit late, I was busy–"

He cuts me off, "No, no. It's alright, Giselle. I wanna thank you actually for giving me your time, I know you're very busy." he says smiling as I return it to him.
