TO KLAUS - Wont be home tonight, witch business. -Em x
“Hey Hayles! Why did you call me down to New Orleans? You said it was desperate.” I said softly. “Hey! How have you been?” Hayley asked jumping off of the stool and wrapping her arms around me. “Have you seen this mark before?” She asked showing me a familiar mark on the back of her shoulder. I gasped. “I was talking to Klaus and he said he'd seen it on a wolf pack which roamed Louisiana. “Hayley I have the same mark. I looked into it many years ago when I tried to find something of my father. All i know he was apart of the crescent wolf pack. I couldn't find much more.” I said softly. “Well thats a start I haven't had much luck so thank you for coming all the way out here, are you able to stay a few days? Maybe we can get some answers together?” I nodded, “Thats fine. Im here for some w.i.t.c.h business too. There seems to be something here in New Orleans thats brought me here, so I have to figure some things out.” Hayley nodded and chuckled, “Dont get me involved with that, it confuses me.” I let out a boisterous laugh. “Jane-Anne,” Hayley said pointing towards the women behind the bar. “She told me that people of our kind were run out of here years ago, we’d find them at the bayou. Did you wanna come, or sort out your stuff first?” Hayley asked me softly. “Uhm i’ll come. Might as well.” Hayley nodded and called over Jane-Anne. “Jane-Anne, this is my friend Emerald Maison. She has the same birthmark as me so we are heading to the bayou, so thank you so much for the information.” Hayley said waving a map. “Thats no problem Hayley.” Jane-Anne said giving her a hug. “And lovely to meet you Emerald.” Jane-Anne said hugging me tightly. I exhaled heavily and Jane-Anne pulled away, “Sorry I'm a hugger.” She winked.
“So what else do you know about your history?” Hayley asked me as we began to walk. “Not much really. But the last name of my father was Labonair so maybe we could look into that.” I said softly as we stopped the car in the woods. “The fog is getting bad are you sure we are in the right place?” I questioned Hayley as I looked down at the map. Hayley grabbed it off of me to observe but as she did so the map lit on fire. “What the?” Hayley said scared. I held my palm out to stop it. “What the hell? Why isn't my magic working?” I whispered and Hayley quickly threw it out the window in a panic. “That was so weird. Lets just head back? Maybe we can do this in the morning, its getting dark anyway.” I said and Hayley quickly agreed as she put the car in reverse to turn around. Suddenly her car began to pop and fizz and smoke emerged from the bonnet. “Are you kidding me?!” Hayley spoke mad as we both jumped out of the car. “Hayley I may have lived for a thousand years but I have no idea how to fix cars.” I said as we opened the bonnet more smoke escaped. “Want me to call a towing company?” She asked. “Yeah think thats for the best Hayles.” I said softly waving the smoke away.
“Uh Em?” Hayley mumbled, I snapped my head up to see people emerging from the woods I ran towards Hayley and began to chant a spell. “WHY ISN'T IT WORKING? WHY ISN'T THE SPELL WORKING?” Hayley cried. “I don't bloody know Ha-“ And then before i knew it I was out.
REBEKAH POV
“New Orleans? What the hell is Klaus doing there?” I asked my eldest living brother. “Apparently there are witches conspiring against him. So knowing out brother, this was a mission to silence and slaughter.” Elijah said softly. “Well the French Quarter witches aren't to be trifled with, you don't suppose they found a way to kill him once and for all do you?” I asked with a smirk as I raised the glass of whiskey to my lips. “Rebekah in the name of our family you may want to down your glee.” Elijah spoke disappointed and I rolled my eyes. “Oh what family? We are three distrusted acquaintances who happen to share a blood line. And wheres Emerald?” I asked Elijah. “Ive been calling her since after prom.” Elijah sighed and sat down on the table. “I assume she's in Salem. She's been there a lot recently according to Niklaus but she texted me saying she had come across some witch business that needs to be sorted and she will be back in a few days.” I raised an eyebrow. “Isn't it weird though? I've been texting her non-stop and have received not a single reply? When did she text you this?” I asked my brother. “A half hour after she left for prom with Caroline Forbes, I haven't heard anything since.” Elijah said standing up and walking out the room. “Where are you going?” I asked following him out. “I'm going to go see who's making a move against our brother. And then i’ll either stop them, or ill help them, depending on my mood.” I stood there with my mouth wide.
