“I told you Agnes, I feel great.”  I said as i flipped through a magazine.  “You are overdue for a check up.”  I rolled my eyes. “What is she going to do?  Pop into the quarter for an ultrasound.  A pregnant hybrid escorted by an elder witch, nothing to see here!”  Hayley spoke sarcastically I let out a boisterous laugh as i agreed with Hayley, resting my head on her lap.  “Alot of people would kill to have a child, strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours.”  I inwardly groaned at Rebekahs comment.

“I know a doctor out in the bayou, off the path.  Now I took the liberty of making an appointment for you, tonight after hours. Just us.  The other vampires will not get word of it.”  Agnes said and I sat up from laying on Hayleys lap.  “Fine but Hayley is coming with.”  I said softly,  “Ill see you tonight. Hayley show Agnes the door please?”  I said with a small smile.  “Ill be back in twenty minutes to pick you up, please be ready.”

“Please sister tell me you're not still at it with the internet search. How does one begin anyway?  Just search up, anonymous attic?”  Klaus said with a chuckle as he walked into the room.  Trust him to enter when we were finished with the baby talk.  “Somebody has to find Elijah.  Even if I have to search every bloody attic in New Orleans.”

“I remember details about the attic,  like how there were shutters on the windows behind Elijahs coffin.”  I rolled my eyes,  “I doubt thats going to narrow it down much, Rebekah.”  I said softly as I watched Klaus walk over to her as I stayed on the other side of the room, crossed legged on the couch.  “I prefer actual strategy as appose to mind-numbing labour.”  I let out a snicker.  “Marcels delay in returning Elijah makes me suspect he's no longer in charge.  If Davina’s loyalty to Marcel is strained perhaps the young witch will be up for discussing a new alliance.”  I rolled my eyes.  “Sorry to interrupt on what I can tell is going to be a lovely sibling bicker, Klaus I'm going to the bayou tonight with the witch for a check up on the baby.  You being the father, are welcome to come.  You know I didn't get into this situation on my own.”  I said walking over to him with my arms over my chest.  “Im working on getting Elijah back, I wont be joining.”  I sighed.  “Didnt think so.”  I growled as I walked out the door.

The ride to the bayou didn't seem to take too long.  We pulled up outside a red small cabin home.  “Gosh you should be thrilled that I'm here, I would much rather be at the music festival.” I said looking at Agnes.  “Em don't you think this will be cool though.  Being able to see yo-“  I cut Hayley off.  “This magical, mystical baby that is absolutely impossible although mother nature decided to be a bitch to me. No Im not sure if it will be cool Hayles.”  I said stepping out of the car, Hayley close behind.

“Youre baby’s heart rate is perfect.”  The doctor said as I smiled widely.  “I knew it, shell be a tough one.”  I said softly as I looked over at Hayley as she passed me a piece of tissue so I could remove the jelly like substance from my stomach.  “Thats a unique birth mark.” She said to Hayley as she slipped on her jumper.  “We are pretty much done now right?” I asked the doctor before Hayley had the chance to answer.  I picked up my phone to see a text from Rebekah.
