• Roxy's point of view •

I stumbled my way down the stairs in the morning, grinning happily about what I did to Jeonghan last night.

I shuffled past the workers of my house and walked into the dining table, being greeted with Blaze, already stuffing in food.

I just chuckled and shook my head, staring at her to which she just gave me that "piss off" look.

I sat at the seat across from her and soon, my breakfast was being prepared in front of me.

My parents usually don't join us for breakfast, telling me they have a lot of work to do, thus they have them sent to their work room.

Therefore, it's usually just Blaze and I, in this big and long dining table.

Or so I thought.

Soon, the doors to the dining room opened, to be greeted by the new faces that are going to occupy these halls of my house.

I rolled my eyes when the annoying familiar smirk was spotted and soon he was seated right next to me, which had me scowling at him.

"I'm pretty sure this table has enough seats for you to stay away from me."

I retorted which had him grinning while sipping the glass of water that our maids had given each of them.

"Then I wouldn't get to annoy you from far away."

I rolled my eyes at him and decided to just ignore his existence so that I can enjoy my breakfast peacefully.

"The sun hasn't even rise fully and you guys are already at each other's throats."

I flashed my eyes towards the guy who spoked and juggled through my brain to remember his name.

I believe it was Wonwoo?

"What do you mean? This is our way of getting along, right Roxanne?"

I narrowed my eyes sideways at him and saw how he was smiling sarcastically, about to reach for the fork beside his plate.

I quickly snatched it away and harshly threw it backwards, swiftly pinning against the wall.

Then I flashed him a smile while he just raised his brow at me.

"Yes, we're getting along just fine."

Then I continued to eat my breakfast while the rest just stayed silent, not daring to utter a word about either of us.

Blaze and I were in our workout room, doing some warm ups, before our trainer comes in for some 1 on 1 battle practice.

Living and working in this kind of field, it requires us to be able to protect ourselves in terms of any kind of danger that we face.

"You know Roxy, I have only ever visualized Jeonghan from what you tell me about him, but I have never imagined him to be that hot. Woman, your descriptions did not do him justice."

I turned to look at her dangling on a high pole and swinging her body front and back, with her legs elevating in the air.

"He is exactly how I described him."

"If your definition of short, scrawny and hideous to look at, another term for built, tall and sexy, then yes, you're right."

I rolled my eyes at her sarcastic remark and continued stretching my legs out on the dip bars by grabbing onto them and lifting my body up before stretching my legs in a 180 degree split before placing them on top of the bars.

"The guy is cocky enough as it is, don't need me acknowledging how he looks."

"So you admit he is sexy."

I shot her a glare and she just raised her hands up in surrender, but it looks like she's letting them down, as she was dangling upside down with her legs now gripping the pole.

"Alright girls, sorry I'm late. I just had a talk with your father, Roxy and he told me that 3 others will joining us."

I held the bars again and carefully placed myself down before walking towards him, with Blaze in tow.

"What 3 others?"

Before he could reply, the doors bursted open and I turned around to see the '3' others and among them, my glare intensified into rays when I saw that stupid grin.

"Roxy, Blaze, this is Seungcheol, Jisoo and Jeonghan."

I gritted my teeth as he mock waved at me while the other two looked amused at my reaction towards their brother.

"WHY... is he joining us? We have a lot of other trainers that could take his annoying ass."

I asked with so much resent in my tone, still staring at that smug smile. I had nothing against the other two, they seemed bearable, but not that blonde devil.

"Well, your father thinks it's a nice way for you to train together with him. Since they're a part of our family."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, still refusing to accept the fact that they believe we are a 'family'.

"And also, your father and his father believed that you two would make a great pair to work on missions together."

With that, I snapped my eyes back open and turned my head towards my trainer, genuinely surprised my neck didn't twist and break.

"WHAT . DID . YOU . SAY ?"

I worded them out with so much threat that he started stuttering.

"I-I m-mean, it was your father's idea."

I was seconds away from tackling him and breaking his bone but Blaze had to restrain me.

"Oh come on Roxy, I think it'd be fun."

Now I transferred my anger towards him.

"Don't call me that."

I spat out which had him smirking even more.

"Feisty like a fox, as always. Not surprised that's your nickname."

I just narrowed my eyes at him, calming myself down as getting angry wouldn't change anything.

"Whatever, let's just get this training over with."

I spoke deeply annoyed, before turning to walk towards the fighting mat.

I need to let off some steam.
